Chapter 13: Clary

"I-I'm ready," said Emma, softly, from her closed bathroom door.

I had just given her my old gear that I had worn with I had been eight-teen.

I watched as the door slowly opened, and Emma stepped out in front of where I was sitting on her bed.

"Owe my gosh... you look so beautiful."

Emma's very dark red hair was up in a high ponytail.
The black gear, that looked like mine (just without the weapons on her weapons belt).

I stood, smiling. "The only thing you need now is a few weapons. And of course a bit if training."
"W-where would I get all of that..?"
"In Idris. Where the Shadowhunters live when they're not hiding in the real world."
"Is that why we're going there?"

I nodded. "Yes... that, and for you to finally meet your family members. You've only ever heard about them."
"And gotten cards from them," added Emma softly.
"Yes, that too."
She smiled finally, witch made me relax a little. "Let's go show your Father how you look."
"Alright."

I led her down the hallway.
