Chapter 16

Recap:
"I..if you want I could bite you while you know. I can't do the same but I can do part of it." Alfred mumbled while blushing.

"Thank you love." Arthur smiled.

"Y..yeah." Alfred blushed.

"Now go to sleep okay. I'll get some food ready for you for when you wake up." Arthur said lovingly as he kissed Alfred's forehead then left him to rest.

Alfred awoke some time after. Judging by the amour of light coming in from outside it was evening.

"Arthur?" Alfred called.

No response.

"Arthur!" Alfred yelled.

Nothing.

"Arthur come here now it's an order!" Alfred screamed.

Arthur didn't come. Something was preventing him from coming and Alfred had no idea what.

Alfred jumped out of the bed grabbing his dagger. He found lying next to it was Arthur's. Alfred ran outside not caring it was getting dark, not caring he was shirtless, all he cared about was Arthur.

'Arthur!'

'Alfie? Alfie!' Arthur said telepathically.

'Arthur tell me where you are.'

'I do not know. A man. One who looked just like you snuck up on me. Before I knew what was happening he held a dagger to my throat.' Arthur said panicky.

'I will find you describe the area.'

'We are in the forest high in the trees. I can hear the creek.' Arthur explained.

'I'll be there soon Arthur.'

'Alfie.'

'Yes?'

'I love you.'

'I love you too.'

Arthur felt his wrists bound by a rough cord. He was tied to a tree in the middle of the forest on one of the higher branches. Silently praying Alfred would get here soon.

"What have you done to my brother?" The man asked finally after sometime of silence.

"Nothing." Arthur said softly.

"Lies!" He growled. "I can see your fangs. You have seduced my idiot brother to keep as your blood bank. Or worst convert him into one of your kind." The man spat.

"Your Matthew." Arthur said astonished.

"What is it too you peasant?" Matthew growled.

"Gilbert is not dead." Arthur said flatly.

"H..he isn't?" Matthew said with shock.

"He isn't a vampire ether. He's still human." Arthur continued.

"T..then all the..." Matthew mumbled trailing off. Only to snap back. "Where is he?"
