"Sir!" A hair haired boy called as he walking into the throne room attempting to catch his breath.

"Ah Allistor. Did the mission go as planned?" The King asked a broad smile on his face.

"Yes father. I apologize it took me so long to get home. I ran into trouble and decided to have a snack." He said as he kneeled down on one knee in front of the King.

"It is all well but the humans have countered our attack." The King said solemnly.

"Sire are my brothers and sister okay?" Allistor asked.

"Ah yes. Well mostly." The King shrugged.

"What do you mean mostly?" Allistor asked with venom on his tongue.

"The half-breed is the only one no longer here." The King said simply.

"W..where is Arthur?" Allistor asked shakily.

"Who knows. It's his fault the Queen is dead. He didn't see the human who snuck in. So I banished him. He will be blamed for her murder to keep quiet about humans killing her." The King said with amusement in his voice. "It's a good plan is it not?"

"Father. Where is Arthur." Allistor said through gritted teeth.

"I do not see why it's important to you. I understand you prefer to feed on his vampiric blood but that sort of thing is taboo. It's only meant for those in sexual relation- oh." The King smirked. "You are in love with him." Allistors eyes shot daggers to his father willing him to stop. But of course he wouldn't. "So then. I mean it's technically a pure relation ship. She wasn't your mother and I wasn't the half-breeds father-"

"Stop calling him that!" Allistor screamed.

"Oh did I hit a nerve my son?" The King laughed as Allistor growled. "I see the master in you has begun to show. What's wrong you dislike someone speaking ill of your little lover?" He taunted.

"STOP IT!" Allistor's voice boomed through the room.

"Don't you dare raise your voice to me." The King sneered. Allistor took a breath and looked to the ground. He would never win. At least not alone. It's too soon to challenge the King for the claim of the vampiric nation.

"Of course father. Please accept my apology." Allistor muttered.

"He's been banished to the wastelands." The King said flatly. Allistor looked up to him with worry and concern in his eyes. "Just telling you in case you get any ideas my son."

"Of course. I would never disobey you sire." Allistor bowed once more.

"You may leave now." The King muttered pointing to the door. "Oh and tell the servants to send my mistress in." He smirked.

"M..mistress?" Allistor croaked.

"Of course you will need one too eventually since you seem to have something for men. After all our family needs to have backups. Besides its just so you can have them bare children. Far better than a sex-slave you need to kill the children that come from those." The King said a-matter-a-factly.

"S..sex-slave?" Allistor questioned.

"Why do you think we bring humans here son? They are good for more than just blood. Of course there's the odd people like that Elizabeta girl. She keeps a human because she loves him. *pffff* No wonder I removed her social standing at the palace." The King muttered.

"Your why Eliza left?" Allistor asked.

"Of course. Now I told you to call the servants so NOW GO!" The Kings voice boomed.

Allistor stood up slowly nodding to his father. Quickly he walked out of the room and alerted the servants of his fathers requests. Then he ran off to tell his siblings what happened.

Matthew slipped back into the castle without anyone noticing him again. He walked up to his fathers throne room.

"Father." Matthew called out to gain attention.

"Ah my son your here. Did you complete your mission?"

"Yes sir." Matthew said solemnly. "I will do whatever it takes to kill our enemy." He said proudly as he kneeled down on his knees I front of his father.

"Good. This is why you will be the one to inherit the kingdom." The King said happily.

"Forgive me sire. But I am not fit to run a kingdom. That is much better left to Alfred. He can convince people of anything, he can lead army's, he knows how people work. I am simply a holy knight to be." Matthew insisted.

"Alfred is no longer with us." The King said his voice laced with false sorrow.

"W..where is he?" Matthew asked worriedly.

"While you were gone a vampire broke into the castle and murdered your mother. Alfred was in the sewing room with her. They kidnaped him." The King said angrily.

"W..what?" Matthew stuttered panic drawing it's way on his features.

"I can only guess it's to kill him like they killed your mother or..." The King paused. "Turn him into one of them."

"N..no I need to rescue him!" Matthew yelled. "I need to protect Alfred!"

"I'm sorry Matthew but we have no choice. We must keep it under wraps that Alfred was taken. If the citizens find out they might revolt because a vampire snuck in without us noticing." The King said slowly. Dragging out his words as he spoke. "That is why I decided to publicize that it was Alfred who killed the queen not a vampire."

"W..what? You expect people to believe Alfred killed mother?" Matthew asked outraged.

"They already have." The King said flatly.

"Why would you do this?" Matthew asked.

"Because you are the older twin. The throne was yours to begin with."

"I.. I need to find-"

"Alfred? No I don't think so. He has been taken. He's long dead by now. Surely you remember what happened to Gilbert." The King smirked. "Now. The only reason I permitted you date that albino boy was due to your mothers insisting. I strictly do not approve of this and you will marry Royal like a true Prince should. Not some commoner."

"O..of course father. As you say." Matthew bowed his head.

"You are dismissed."

"Yes sir."
