Mitch's pov
Scott, Kevin, Avi, and I all headed back to the apartment. They were talking all boyish. I didn't know what they were talking about. Something about foot ball or something.

I was feeling really insecure and shy. Scott almost didn't notice, that's right I said ALMOST.

"Are you okay Mitchie?" He asked me.
"Scott would it be okay if I held your hand?" I said looking down at my shoes.

"Of course babe, don't be so ashamed in yourself," he assured me taking my hand into his own. They continued to talk as we walked into the elevator.

I don't like elevators very much at all. Closed spaces aren't my thing in general. One time when I was ten, I was at a hotel with my dad and we got stuck in an elevator for 10 hours straight.

As we step in, it shakes a little bit. Not even too much, just a normal amount. And I whimper, decently loudly.

"Are you okay Mitch?" Avi asked me obviously worried. Kevin gave me the same look, and at that moment I scooted into Scott's side and he knew exactly what to do.

"Oh, Mitch has a little fear of elevators. He will be okay I'm sure o-" he was cut off by the elevator stopping. Scott feels my heart rate go up.

"Mitchie we are gonna be okay, don't worry because I know that's what you are doing right now," he stops realising I'm completely zoning out backing up into the corner and crawling into a ball.

Scott's pov
I look at Avi who is calling for help and Kevin trying to get answers out of Avi. Kevin pulls me aside, I'm sure I know what he is gonna say.

"Now is your chance, be the hero and he will like you for sure," he stated trying to be a wing man.
"Kevin, I'm not gonna try flirting with him while he is in this state," I remind him.
"Dude be yourself, don't flirt. He likes you clearly, don't think I didn't see that hand holding stuff. He loves it when you help him and he needs your help," he reminds me

I nod and turns around to Mitch. I wasn't worried about Mitch over hearing because he was almost in his own world. So I go to him sit next to him. Then I pick him up and straddle him in my lap.

Rocking him back and forth, as he cries silently. I whisper reassuring things into his ear like 'in order for there to be a rainbow there has to be rain' or 'your never fully dressed without a smile'. He is starting to calm down, but I know the one thing that calms him down every time. My singing.

I noticed he fell asleep in my arms. I kissed his forehead knowing that if we were not out of here when he woke up he would be awful. He is already gonna be bad later, when he remembers all this. I look up and Kevin is smirking at me, along with Avi.

"What are you guys staring at?" I ask them. They are still smirking.
"They fixed the elevator 10 minutes ago, you just didn't notice because you two were to busy being cute," Kevin said with a smile from ear to ear.

I give them glares and then continue to carry Mitch to our apartment. And as he is doing that Mitch wakes up.

"Hey Scott, what happ-" he stopped realising what had happened.
"I'm sorry I put you through that Scotty, you should have just let me handle it. I would have got over it eventually," he stated.
"Yeah because I'm gonna let the one I love sit in a corner and cry until he gets over something, riiiggghhhhttt" wait, oh shit.

"Look Mitch I know this is not the time im-"

"I love you too Scott," he cut me off.

"You do?" I question. He really likes me back!

"Scott you are so loving and sweet and care for me more than yourself all the time. Of course I do."

And that's how the one if the worst days, became the best.
