" Aint nothing wrong, with falling in love. "

"What the fuck do you want?" Everyone that knows me knows that I value sleep, and these little soft taps were disturbing me, but there is only one person that comes to my window at three in the morning.

I slid my window upward, and helped him climb inside. His thick brown curls were pulled into a messy bun, and his face was bruised badly.

"Yo B what the fuck happened?" My whisper just so happened to also be a yell. Brandon and I grew close as hell. He is my bestfriend, and his hardheaded ass just so happens to find himself in a hell of a lot of trouble. Very often.

He ignored me, brushing past, and making his way in my bathroom. I know damn well this nigga has not lost his mind.

"Okay Brandon, whatever." Shaking my head, I just rolled my eyes at him, and started cleaning his wounds. Brandon smacked his lips, and just stared down at me. I swear I was trying my best to ignore his fine ass. His deep brown eyes hold me captive. How? I don't know. Because they were just brown eyes. Brown eyes like everyone else's. But his are different. He is different.

"Man, stop alla'dat poutin' shit." Brandon wrapped his slightly toned arounds around my petite waist, bringing me close to him. "I was handlin' bidness and shit got outta hand. Ion need ya worryin' bout me princess. Especially not on ya birthday." My birthday completely slipped my mind. It wasn't something I saw as special anymore. Birthdays weren't celebrated in this household. Mainly because shit always got ruined, so I gave up on trying to perfect this one day year after year. It was only a day in my opinion.

"Brandon hush and stop moving." My words came out as small mumbles. The scars showed as pink on his light skin, and left his eye held a purple ring around it. His grip on me got tighter, and his head nuzzled into the side of my neck. Light butterfly kisses were placed wherever he could place them, and I couldn't help but smile.

"Come hea' I got sum' fa' you." I followed his medium build to my room, where he threw his backpack on the ground. He picked it up, grabbed a box, and placed it into my small palms. The box was a baby blue color with silver wording on it. A huge smile spread across my face, but was quickly replaced with a frown.

"Brandon, you know I hate gifts."

"I know baybeh girl but Ion' care honestly." He shrugged his shoulders, and urged me to continue the quest of opening the gift. My small fingers grabbed hold of the thin white ribbon and pulled it slowly so it unraveled. I opened the box, and couldn't help but get teary eyed. A diamond ring glistened, wedged between the blue satin holder. It was astonishing.

"I...uh...saw ya' lookin' at it and thought'
cha might like it." I looked up to see his cheeks turning a slight pink, and his hand nervously running the back of his neck. His adorable actions made me smile even harder. Seeing him nervous was so cute to me.

"I love it Brandon."

"I love you Brielle."
