* John’s POV *

It was Monday once again, and today, the boys and I will be rehearsing for upcoming shows. We all met up at the dancing studio where we usually practice. I’d say this would be my normal work day, but then again, everyone will know I’d be telling a lie.

Of course, Bailey kept on distracting me. It would be much better if she was here watching on the sidelines, making faces or whatever she had in mind that will take my mind off dancing, but no, she has to be somewhere else. Somewhere I’m not sure of. Apparently, Xander has called me up to inform me that she took a leave. Not that I had the right to know her whereabouts, she still wasn’t mine.

Since the time she went to Xander’s office with me, yes that time I thought she was going to kiss me, she hasn’t shown herself to anyone. A single call or text from her would seal my paranoia, but instead, she decided to not answer any of my calls or messages. Last I heard was that she had an emergency yesterday, too urgent that she can’t even have the time to say where she was headed to.

“You know, it would be a whole lot better if you’re really here with us too.” Eman commented, snapping me out of my thoughts. Yep, I think I’m going crazy.

I nodded and asked where we were, and surely, one of them said we were in the studio, supposedly practicing our new dance moves and daydreaming wasn’t part of the steps.

We continued on the rehearsals as I tried to focus on it. In my mind, at the end of the day, she would be at the supermarket later on when I pick up my brother. Crossing my fingers on that thought that she would be there. I don’t know what else I’d think if she wasn’t, especially if I know she could be with that other guy, who’s still a mystery to me.

It would help if I knew him, then maybe I wouldn’t be reacting this way. But how could I stop it when I know for a fact she doesn’t have any relatives nearby. She doesn’t even know if she has any relatives at all, so this was making me all worried. Bailey is the type of person who keeps things to herself because she thinks that everyone she meets would leave her. I know for a fact, I won’t.

Leaving her would be the biggest regret I’ll ever make.

My thoughts once again popped in the air as I found Lenny knocking on my head three times. “John, can we come into your head?” He asked as everyone laughed.

“Yeah, yeah very funny!” I mocked, rolling my eyes. “What are we doing next?”

Lukas shook his head and chuckled. “We were actually taking a break, but you decided to stay in the middle of the dance floor distracted.”

“It was fun watching you though.” Samson chimed in.

I snorted. “Glad I could entertain y’all with my presence.”

Paulie joined in on the conversation. “So where did you leave your mind?”

“I bet it’s that chick, Bailey.” Solo guessed and he was right.

“Hey, don’t call her a chick. She’s my girl.” I retorted.

“Since when?” Eman asked. “And when are we going to meet her?”

“Actually, John is a bit slow right now.” Lenny chuckled as he revealed that Bailey still wasn’t my girlfriend… officially, that is.

“Hey!” I slapped his arm as they all chuckled to what they have discovered.

“Now that you mentioned it, I really want to meet her. First time John’s waiting!” Samson piped up.

Yeah, apparently, my love life is interesting to the boys right now. Should I make a book about it?
