(Link's P.O.V)

After getting my things together, I headed to Castle town. When I got there, it was all decorated. The masked ball was a huge event for Hyrule. Everyone wears mask and dresses nice. The dance goes on all night and there's two spots its healed. One, town square, and two, the Castle ball room. I never went to one before, well, I went to the town square one. That one you don't dress up at but this year Zelda mentioned me being able to come to the ball, Ilia could come as well she said. Ilia likes those kinds of things. I wonder if (y/n) does. I can't really see her in a dress, dancing among everyone. Not that she won't look amazing good in a dress or not dance good. I bet she would look like a goddess nice in a dress and could dance very good. I am a bet curious of what her answer would be if I asked her, if.

Anyways, I got to the Castle and Zelda was waiting for me in the front as always. She saw me and smiled running up and giving me a huge hug which was not like her at all," Link, you came, good. I found out a bit about the hidden kingdom."

"Cool," I smiled widely and sat down with her on the bench," what did you find?"

"May I see the book?" She looked to me as I nodded and pulled out the book about the kingdom, handing it to her. She took it and purposely brushed her figures with mine, dropping the book with a 'oops.'

"Oh~ I'm such a klutz, so sorry Link," She said in a girl voice as I picked up the book and handed it back to her with a smile.

"Its fine," I assured her. She looked at me, studying my face then frowning.

"A-Anyways, I asked the elders my self and they remembered a bit more they said. They told me they still only remember what they told you. They remember war between two rulers...oh but they did was there use to be dances a lot!" Zelda looked at the book and smiled slightly, looking to me," you know, we're having a dance as well..."

"I-I know," I smiled nodding a bit. I remember back to Ilia and how upset she looked when I didn't give her an answer.

"Are you going?" Zelda questioned looking at the book again.

"I don't know..." I looked to Zelda, she was blushing a bit as I began to panic. What if she asks me? What do I say just in case? I don't feel anything other than friendship for both her and Ilia.

"I-I was going to ask this girl..." I stuttered looking down. Maybe if I lie.

"Who...who is she?" Zelda frowned and looked to me. My heart began to race.

"(Y-Y/n)..." I said without thinking.

"Oh...well, when you come to the dance together...I want to meet her," Zelda's voice cracked but she nodded. I could tell she didn't believe me that much.

"Okay, you can meet her then," I smiled slightly with a nod.

"Well, I better go. I'll see you and your...(Y/n), then," She stood up and walked off without another word. I sighed and left, looking at the book in my hands. Great, now I'm going to look like a lair if I go or not. I could say she got sick and couldn't go...but then if Zelda meet her farther down the line and asked, (Y/n) will say I never asked her then they both would began to question things. (Y/n) told me we're friends, nothing more and Zelda thinks I'm lying. As I walked, I heard a squeal. I turned to see group of girls, all running up to me with smiles. Great.

"Oh hero~ Hero~" One called as I stopped and smiled a bit.

"H-Hi girls," I looked away as they stopped at me, shouting all at once.
