(Your P.O.V)
Today was the first war. The new recruits would fight and some could die. I ran my figures though Noche's mane with a frown. I don't know how many more wars there is going to be, but I'm tired of it and Damien playing his games. He never even comes on the battle field anymore, just sits in his castle waiting. Well if I'm going to send people into a bloody war, I'm going too.
"Hey lord (Y/n)," I looked over my shoulder to see Link saluting as I laughed.
"Hey Link, are you ready for the war?" I asked, looking back to Noche.
"Yeah...you've been to a war before right?" He asked as I nodded," what's it like?"
"Well, its dark. But you'll do fine, I'm sure," I smiled looking to him. He smiled as well and looked down.
"W-Well...Damien be there?" He asked as I froze and though for a moment.
"No, he's to scared to come out of his castle. Want to hear a secret, he's scared of his own shadow," I joked with a laugh. Link laughed as well.
"You've meet him before?" He asked, looking up.
"Yeah, he's not so treating as he sounds. He just acts though," I lied. Really, Damien was as powerful as me, but I couldn't get Link or anyone worried.
"What are you doing here here?! You should be getting ready solder!" The general came into the room and glared daggers at Link as he jumped and spun around.
"S-Sorry sir, I-I just-"
"He's fine, General. He's always welcome," I assured the general, turning around and dipping my head.
"If you say so lord (Y/n). Anyways, I brought your helmet and sword," He handed me my helmet and sword as I smiled and nodded.
"Thank you, ," I put the helmet on and stabbed the sword to my side," are the solders ready?"
"Yes, all but this one," The general hit Link int he back of his head as he flinched and held were he hit him.
"Like I said, he's fine. He'll stay next to me in the war," I explained taking Noche's reins and looked to the boys.
"What? Him!" the general gasped, as both looked surprised.
"M-Me?" Link asked as I nodded.
"Yes. I want you int he front row with me and the angles," I looked to the general," there's no problem with that is there?"
"N-No ma'am, not at all. I'll go g-get the troops ready," He turned around and walked out leaving us.
"You should go get ready as well, I'll meet you int he front line," I walked past Link, Noche following. He stood there for a second before sauteing.
"Yes ma'am."

Everyone lined up on the edge of the hill, watching down at the war. The first group already went and now it was us. I looked to my die to see Link, his eyes wide with fear.
"You'll be fine, Just stay by me-" I started before Nichole interrupted me.
"Or me. I'm an angle after all," She smiled as Link looked to both of us then me.
"I-I'll stay with lord (Y/n), okay N-Nichole," he smiled sightly as I did too while Nichole rolled her eyes.
"Fine, but don't blame me if she lets you die," She growled as I rolled my eyes and had Noche walk closer to his horse, Epona.
"We'll look out for each other, okay?" I smiled as he nodded.
"Yes ma'am," He nodded as we got off our horse and ran into battle. Link stayed close to me as we did so. There were lots of monsters that scattered the field. Most were shadows. One looked towards me and smile," looks like lord (Y/n) finally joined the battle."
I growled and ran towards it, swing my sword. It jumped back and laughed, hitting swords with me. I looked into its red eyes as we tried to over power each other. Suddenly a bright light shined as I covered my eyes. The shadow screamed as I looked down. A sword was right though its body. It diapered into a black/purple smoke revealing Link standing there. He looked up with a smile as I smiled to. He offered me a hand and helped me up before gasping and letting go of my hand. I hit the ground and flinched from the pain. I looked up to see a cut on Link's arm. Behind him was a shadow. I went to stand up before a shadow knocked me down. It went to stab me but I put my sword up and blocked it. Link was already battling the other. It hit him int he side as he screamed and fell. I saw Nichole run over and stab the shadow attacking Link as Mason killed the one attacking me. He helped me up with a smile as I took a breath and looked around. We were losing. I looked to Link and Nichole as she was kneeled next to him, giving me a dirty look," I told you that you'd let him die."
"He's not dead Nichole," Mason snapped, picking the knocked out Link up and putting him over his shoulder.
"Retreat!" I shouted as everyone turned and looked then ran. The four of us ran to the horses as Lina meet us haft way and helped. We retreated the battle and head back to camp. I looked back to the battle grounds as the shadow's held their swords int he air, cheering. I narrowed my eyes and followed everyone. Another battle lost.

I sat on the porch of the cabin and looked out into the camp. another terrible defeat like always. I sighed and closed my eyes, resting my chin in my hand.
"Hey, lord (Y/n)," I looked up to see Link. He had bandages around his hand and waist.
"Hey, how you feeling?" I asked as he shrugged and sat next to me.
"Good. Did we really lose? Nichole said we did because of you but I don't believe her..." He looked down," I'm sorry I wasn't much help..."
"What do you mean? You saved my life," I looked to him as he shook his head.
"We lost though."
"So. We haven't giving up yet," I looked to the starry sky and sighed.
"Um..." Link looked down as I looked to him.
"Something wrong?"
"N-No, its n-nothing..." he bit his lip and looked the other way as I shook my head and scooted closer to him.
"You sure? You look like somethings on your mine~" I smiled as he blushed and looked away.
"It's just..." He trailed off for a second before turning around quickly and pressing his lips to mine, caching me off guard. My eyes went wide as he pulled away and stood up quickly, sauteing," g-good night l-l-lord (Y/n)."
He ran off quickly as I moved my hand to my lips with a small blush. I soon smiled and stood up. He wasn't that bad. I shook my head and turned around to see Nichole glaring at me.
"Jealous~?" I smiled and walked to my cabin leaving a very mad angle behind. Oh well, I just got my first kiss and I didn't care if the goddesses were mad at me right now. Who would have though I would fall for the hero.
