(Link's P.O.V)
The wolf sad there without a bit of moment. I noticed his had its eyes on (y/n) the whole time, not taking one look away form her. She smiled and walked forward, kneeling down and putting her hand on his cheek," its been a while hasn't it?"
The wolf rested his head in her head and closed his eyes as I walked forward. I noticed tears running down (y/n)'s eyes as she had her eyes close. Maybe she was reading his thoughts. She opened her eyes and smiled," I missed you as well..."
She stood up and looked to me," you know this wolf I'm sure. He'll teach you some things."
She took a step back as I looked to the golden wolf. He looked to me and jumped at me. The second he hit me, I was in the same place we always seen each other. I looked to the wolf with a smile. Every time we meet before, he turned into the hero's shade but this time was different. The wolf howled and turned into...me? The boy standing there looked a lot like me but was taller and hand the same armor as the hero's shade. I stood there in shock for a few moments as he smiled," I see you meet (y/n) again as planed."
"Y-Your m-me?" I looked at him as he nodded.
"So I am. I'm you from the past. That's how I know (Y/n)..." he smiled at the sound of her name and closed his eyes.
"How?" I asked as he opened his eyes and looked to me.
"(Y/n) never told you a lot I see. She was always for skipping important details..."
"I see that. What is she hiding? You must know," I looked to him," please tell me."
"I'm afraid that's for (Y/n) to tell. I do know what she's hiding and why. She doesn't think your ready to know and understand. She still needs proof that you are the same Link she knew. She only thinks of me as her Link," He explained as I sighed," I can only tell you (Y/n) doesn't age the way we do."
"What do you mean?" I looked up as he said this. He sighed and put a hand on my shoulder.
"She never goes up. She stays young forever...that's how she knows me..." He explained as I looked up to him.
"H-How long has she been around?"
"Years...centenaries...but she still is only 17. That's how it works in her family. You grow to a certain age and then stop, " He muttered, looking away," that's why she thinks she can't love you either. She never accepted that fact she loved me."
"Why doesn't she? Does she love us?" I asked with a bit of hope in my heart. The hero's shade nodded and looked to me.
"She does. But she fears that since she is young forever, one day you'll die like I did. From war or from old age. That's why she push some many people away."
"So is she immortal or something?" I asked as he shook his head.
"No...she can die. But not of old age, plus she's a lot stronger than us."
"Oh..."
"I wanted to talk to you, to tell you that (y/n) is difficult. If she doesn't tell you something, you mustn't get mad. She only means it for your own good, more or less. You must be patient with her..." I nodded with a smile.
"Of course...what was your relationship with her?" I asked, looking up as he smiled.
"I'm not to sure myself. I did love her and she loved me, but war go in the way. I meet her during the war. I came to the hidden kingdom to fight on her side, the good side. I soon fell in love with her and would do anything to protect her but...I was still thinking like a child. I got overly confident and was killed," his voice cracked as he looked away," and she blamed herself for it all. She blamed herself not only for my death, but for everyone's. She said she didn't have courage, and that people were dying because of her..."
"And she still thinks that?"
"Yes. She still see's it as her fault. There was another reason, but its not my place to tell you...its hers," He closed his eyes and then opened them after a few moments," please tell her it wasn't her fault...none of it."
"I will," I smiled. The hero's shade smiled and began to fate.
"Take care of her please," He smiled as I nodded. Then I opened my eyes.
I sat up and looked around to see (Y/n) standing by the spring, her eyes focus on the water. I stood up and walked to her side. Her eyes closed as tears fell. I though for a moment then wrapped my arms around her.
"You don't have to tell me what you don't want to...I understand most of it now and that it wasn't you fault," I whispered as I nodded and pulled away.
"One day I might tell you...there's still the chance that Damien will leave me alone for once...but that's rare..." She whispered the last part and looked at the sky. It was already about noon. I looked up as well then at her.
"So...how's this going to work. Is this Damien not going to give up?" I asked as she nodded.
"He's not known for giving up easy. He'll keep trying until he gets to me. At this time I have two options..." She closed her eyes and though for a moment.
"And they are?" I asked as we began walking back. She though for a moment then opened her eyes, following me.
"I can either go to the hidden Kingdom and find Damien or he can come find me..." She explained. We walked to Ordon and sat next to the river. It was a nice day for once.
"So well he come...here?" I asked closing my eyes and trying to imagine the destruction," would that be worst than Ganon?"
"Damien has more power than Ganondorf, yes, but I highly doubt the would come here. Coming here would be the last he would want to do..." She focused her eyes on the water and didn't take them off.
"So you have a history with this guy?" I asked looking to her as she nodded.
"Along history, yeah. I knew him before he went evil...he was a good man like Avery told you and I still believe he could be. He's just forgotten what he had and took a wrong turn..."
"Um..." I looked down and tried to imagine what Damien is like. I can't imagine anyone more powerful than Ganon. How was (Y/n) even able to defeat him if he's that powerful? I can't help but want to ask more about her, like how old she really is and why Damien turned the way he did, but I don't think she wants to tell that much. Still, there's a lot I don't know.
