(Your P.O.V)
I lied in bed, holding a book close to my chest. I heard the door opened and close as footsteps lead to the bed," (Y/n)? Are you okay?'
I rolled over to see Avery. I sniffed and shook my head, staring up at the ceiling. She sat on the edge of the bed and titled her head," what do you have there?"
I sat up and set the book on my lap. I opened to the first page as Avery sighed. I ran my hand down the page as tears built up in my eyes. There was a picture and letter there. The picture showed me and Damien...a long time ago. We both we smiling and happy. That was a long time before the war. When we both cared for each other. Avery put a hand on my shoulder and looked at the picture.
"You miss him still don't you?" She asked as I nodded, sniffing again. She sighed and looked towards the door, "What happened to Link? He seemed very upset at breakfast."
I looked down, remember last night, when he ask me if I loved him. Truly I was dying to say 'yes' and kiss him, but I couldn't. I'll only love him to much and something will happen.
"Well, everyone's ready to go. Just waiting for you," Avery didn't wait for an answer as she looked back to me. I nodded, standing up and nodding.
"Okay, we should get going then," we both walked outside as everyone was out there already. Mason and Lina were talking, and Nichole was annoy Link as he was getting Epona ready. Everyone turned to look at us as I went to Noche. I pulled my hood off of my head and looked to everyone," is everyone ready?"
Everyone nodded and got onto their horse. Mason, Lina and Nichole had white horses as Avery had a brown/reddish horse . I looked over to Link as he didn't make eye contact with me. I looked ahead as Nichole lined her horse, Angle, with Epona. Avery's horse, Marron, walked up to me as Avery looked ahead," it will take a few days...maybe weeks if that. We should head out."
~~~Time skip after starting the journey (Link's P.O.V)~~~
I looked up at the sky, focusing on the clouds. Its been a few hours since we started the journey and I think we have a long ways to go still. I looked to (y/n) as she started ahead. Avery was talking to her about the journey as she would nod. She looked...tried. I don't know how much sleep she got. As I was lost in thoughts, Nichole came up and smiled widely," so Link~ I heard (y/n) said she didn't love you."
"...." I looked away from Nichole trying not to think about last night.
"I was thinking. Since she doesn't love you, and I do, maybe you could be my boyfriend," she chirped as I froze. I bit my lip and though as she keep on talking," think about it, we'll be perfect for each other. I would never brake your heart."
"I-I don't know Nichole. I-I just m-meet you and all," I looked down as she frowned and shook her head.
"So. I just meet you and I know I love you. Its love at first sight~" She smiled, closing her eyes as I shook my head.
"B-But-"
"Look, she doesn't love you. Look at her!" I looked to (Y/n) as she wasn't looking at us, she was now talking to Mason and Lina," its like she doesn't even know your here."
"She does know I'm here. I'm sorry Nichole, its just, I'm not sure what I want right now," I looked to Nichole as she looked away and snorted.
"Fine. But I won't give up," she smirked as I shook my head.
(Your P.O.V)
"So, on the way to the hidden kingdom there are a few villages. We should stop at one just a little way up ahead...though, I don't think we can get there today, we'll have to go there tomorrow or something. Could you ask Mason. He has the map, he'll know," Avery looked to me but I wasn't paying attention. I was looking over at Link and Nicole talking instead. Avery narrowed her eyes," (Y/N)!"
"Um, oh, s-sorry Avery, what did you ask?" I looked to her as she sighed and shook her head.
"There should be a village up ahead, maybe ask Mason how long tell we reach the first village is. We could get some potions or something there," She repeated as I nodded.
"Sure," I slowed Noche down so he could line up with Mason, who was talking with Lina.
"Hey Mason, how far is the first village from us?' I asked as he looked up then at the map in his hands.
"Well~, could take a while. We most likely won't get there until sunset tomorrow," he put a figure on his chin then nodded, looking to me," it could be sooner but that would be if we go all night. Lina, Nichole, Avery and me could go all night but you and Link need rest."
"I could do fine," I sighed, looking down.
"(Y/n), you didn't sleep all night and you need sleep along with Link," Lina protested as I nodded slowly.
"We'll stop soon, not now," I muttered as they both nodded.
"Nichole keeps bugging Link," Lina narrowed her eyes as she looked over at the two talking. I looked over as well and then forward.
"Yeah, just like she always did," Mason looked over as well then me with a small laugh," I'm surprised your not telling her off (Y/n). Back then you two would always be going at it. You almost forgot Damien was the enemy."
"Damien didn't try making me mad like her. She does it for game," I glared over at the two talking. Link said something and Nichole rolled her eyes and Angle walked faster away from Epona. Oh how much I hate her guts.
