Chapter 4: At the Grand Hall

(Aphmau's point of view)

After my classes, I head to the Grand Hall. I was pretty mad about missing lunch because, ya know, it's lunch. But I wanted to see what Garroth wanted. The Grand hall was empty. Probably because everyone else is at lunch and not me. Ugh, but it's ok. At least I get to see Garroth alone. I saw him in the corner.  "Hey, Garroth!!" I tried to get his attention. He looked at me and blushed. I smiled and walked toward him.

"Sorry that I have to talk to you during lunch. I know you like lunch."

"Garroth, it's fine." I kissed him on the cheek. His face was burning red. "Heh Garroth are you ok." He got even more red.

Ohhhh, y....yeah......I ...I'm f-fine. A-Aphmau, I-I wanted..... to ask y-you something....... Ummmmm.

"Ok what is it." He looked like he was about to explode. He's very shy but that's what I like about him. He's cute when he's shy.

"A-aph-----Aphmau, I-I want to-to take y-you out to d-dinner with ....... me....."
Now I looked like I was gonna explode.

"G-Garroth, I would love too." Garroth's eyes grew wide. He looked surprised.

"R-really. You would go out with me. As a friend." I nodded. I knew this date was just a friend date. He didn't have to be that shy. He only likes me as a friend, but I like him more than that.

"Well come on Garroth, let's go to lunch." I decided to grab his hand and we could walk together. Once we got to the cafeteria, we stopped holding hands. We didn't want anyone to assume things. I sat next to Laurence and Garroth sat next to me. Laurence looked at us.

"Sooo, where were you to. I was kinda worried." I started to laugh.

"Laurence you don't have to be worried about me and Garroth."

"I know Garroth can handle being on his own, but you. I was afraid someone might get their hand on you." Laurence makes me laugh, but he does make me agitated. I slapped him softly on the face. "Wait is that it. I thought you were gonna----." I slapped him harder before he could finish. I laughed. "Now there's the Aphmau I know and love." I rolled my eyes. Then Aaron came over to us and gave us a letter.

"Lucinda wanted me to give this to you guys." He handed me the letter and left. Typical Aaron. He's very nice though. I opened it and Garroth and Laurence looked at it.

"A party at Lucinda's house eh," said Laurence as he winked at me. I rolled my eyes again.

"The party is tomorrow when everyone is done with their classes," said Garroth as he started to blush. Why was he blushing?

After lunch.......

Garroth and I walked to my dorm. I'm glad he escorted me to my dorm. He's a nice guy. That's what Laurence says.

"H-hey sooo, I'll come to get you at 6:00 r-right." He still was shaky. I nodded. He gave me a thumbs up and walked off. I thought to myself, I really want have a relationship with Garroth that is like Dante and Nicole's.
