Chapter 8: The Truth

(Aphmau's point of view)

It was the day after the slumber party. Kawaii~Chan and I were getting our books for class. I heard a knock on the door. It was Laurence.
"Aphmau, can I talk to you." I got worried.
"Ummm, yeah. Sure." He took my hand and brought me to the end of the hall.
"Aphmau, why did you spare my feelings. I know you and Garroth are together now."
"Wait, how did you know?"
"Kawaii~Chan showed me a picture of her shipping shrine of you and Garroth."
"L-Laurence, I'm sorry."
"It's ok, really. But if you get married to Garroth and I get married to someone else, I will still have feelings for you." He kissed me for a second. Then he walked away. After he vanished I started walking back to my dorm. I looked into the other hallway. I saw something. It looked like a foot. It wasn't Laurence's though. Ehh, I'll leave it alone. I got back to the dorm and got all my books and headed to class.

At lunch.....

I sat down next to Garroth. He was my only friend in the cafeteria.
"Garroth, Laurence knows."
"Knows what?"
"He knows that you and me are together. He seemed down for the first time." Garroth looked at the ground. "Garroth, you ok? You seem down too."
He looked at me.
"Noooo, I'm not down. I just...uhh.. am really stressed out, because of....uhhh.... class and...stuff." I nodded. He kissed my forehead.
"Ohhhhh!!!!" I looked behind myself. Nicole, Katelyn, Lucinda, Kawaii~Chan, and Cadenza were there. How did I not see them walked in!?!
"Sooo, you like Laurence more ehhh." Said Lucinda. "Ohh, I get it. You wanted to spare his feelings."
"Ugh Lucinda, he already knows." She raised her eyebrows.
"Really. Poor guy." Garroth stood up.
"Aphmau, I got to get to c-class..... I'll cya later." He ran to the door.
"Awwww, poor Garroth~Kun. What's wrong with him Aphmau~Senpai."
Kawaii~Chan looked at me. I got up and chased Garroth. Ugh, I know somethings up with him. First off, he doesn't have any classes after lunch. I knocked on his door. Dante answered it.
"Oh, hey Aphmau, what is it."
"Dante did Garroth run in here by any chance."
"Yeah, he locked himself in his room. I know somethings up, I just can't place my finger on it."
"Can I see him?"
"Umm, sure come in." I walked over to Garroth's door. I knocked it.
"G-Garroth, are you in there. Garroth!" No answer. Ugh. I decided to leave him alone. So I left.
