Ch. 31: What Happened

Garroth's POV

~Dreaming~

Aphmau made it back to the dream dimension thingy. So we were talking, then the sky was suddenly cloudy and it started raining. What the heck!

"Why is it raining?!?" I said. Aphmau then grabbed on to me and hugged me.

"Garroth!" She screamed. I hugged her back.

"Wait, false alarm, I think it's just normal rain!" I said. Then some shadow human shaped figure appeared in front of us.

"Garroth!" Aphmau screamed. Then she just vanished out of my arms.

"Aph?!?" I screamed. I looked at the shadow.

"Heh! Hopefully you do realize you're in MY REALM!!!! So why are you here?!?" The shadow asked in a deep and raspy voice.

"Wait! YOUR REALM!!! This is a dream! My brother trapped me in my friend's dream!" I said.

"What! No! You got it all wrong, stupid! Your brother trapped you here! In my realm! This ain't your girlfriend's dreams!" The shadow said.

"What!" I said.

"Your friends have not idea what's going on! And neither do I!" The shadow said.

"What do you mean?!?" I asked.

"Well I'm wondering how your girlfriend gets here. It's strange. But she's not gonna be able to save you! Only you can save yourself now!" The shadow said.

"You better not put her in danger!!" I screamed.

"Hahaha! I'm not looking for her. Your brother wants me to murder you. That's my job!" The shadow said.

"Fine kill me!" I said.

"Really! Well----" I cut him off.

"But before you do. Tell me who you are? And how to get here?" I asked.

"What! That's pointless! You're gonna die anyways. Also if you're planning to run away, that's not gonna work!" He said as he put a spell on me to make me not be able to move.

"I don't care! Just before I die, I want to know!" I said.

"Hmmmm....fine! How to get here, well, your friends are right about that. Two soul fragments to make an amulet. What they don't know is how to use the amulet to get here. If they don't use it like your brother did when he succeeded, then they'll be trapped here forever. Alright, time to kill you!" He said as he flew down to the ground and then a shadowy sword thingy appeared out of his hand.

"Wait! Tell me your name." I demanded.

"Hmmmmm........" He said.

"Tell me!" I said. A divine blue sword appeared in my hand.

"It's Zenix...." He said. Then he swiped his sword at me. I dodged it. Then Zenix disappeared. What! Where did he go!!

"Behind you!" He said. I turned around to see a man with brown hair and dark brown eyes.

"Now, just saying that wasn't me!" He said.

"Well.....who are you?!?" I asked.

"I'm Zenix..." He said. What! I'm so confused!

"So who's Zenix!" I asked.

"Here! I'm Zenix, that was my familiar. Yes! I've been doing witchcraft! But in any case, my familiar told you my name. Because you're not dealing with him, you're dealing with me. He tried to stab me again but I dodged it. Wait! So he's Zenix, not the weird shadow guy! Argh!!! This guy is so confusing!
So basically, for a minute of what looked like a fencing match, this guy started to get stronger and stronger. And I was getting weaker and weaker. Then his sword swiped at my face and cut my cheek. I then fell to the ground, because I was getting to weak.

"Heh, I thought the eldest Ro'meave would be stronger. I guess not." He said. "Zane also wanted me to tell you this, he said he'll take care off Aphmau for you." I looked at him. Tears were in my eyes.

"Before I die, tell Zane that Laurence would never let that happen." I said.

"Quiet!" He stabbed my chest. He disappeared. Then I heard Aphmau's voice.

"GARROTH!!!!" She screamed.
