Chapter 5: The 'Friend' Date!

(Aphmau's point of view)

I was getting ready for the date. I decided to wear something casual because this is a 'friend' date. Garroth and I also agreed that we would have casual clothes on. I showered, brushed my hair, and got dressed. Then I heard a knock on the door. It had to be Garroth. I opened the door and Laurence was there.

"Oh, hey Laurence, why did you stop by." He looked at me with a desperate face.

"Aphmau, be honest, where were you and Garroth during lunch." I was confused. Why didn't Laurence just ask Garroth.

"Why didn't you ask Garroth."

"That doesn't matter just tell me where you and Garroth were during lunch."

"Umm, well I was in the Grand Hall studying and Garroth came by. He asked me if uhhh, if I could study with him." Laurence had a face of relief. But he also looked a bit worried.

"Oh ok good. I didn't want him hitting on you or asking you on a date. Well cya later!" He kissed my cheek. Once he left I wiped it off. I like Laurence as a friend but not a boyfriend. I decided to sit on the couch and wait for Garroth to come.

5 minutes later..........

I heard a knock on my door. I opened it and it was Garroth. "H-hey Aph, oh, i-is it alright if I c-call you that. Sometimes people don't like---." I stopped him.

"Garroth, it's ok. You just need to chill out." We both were blushing.

"Y-you're right. I'll be honest. I'm s-shy around you." I smiled and blushed.

"Aww, Garroth it's ok. Now come on, let's go eat." We held hands the whole way there. It was a big restaurant.

After we ordered food and got it....

"Garroth how did you know my favorite dish."

"Well I know you, and you are m-my best friend." Whew, I was about to say girlfriend, Garroth thought.

I smiled at Garroth. He blushed and smiled back. After dinner we decided to walk through the Meteli Park. We sat on a bench together.

"Aphmau you know I'm not good with this friendly date stuff right."

"Garroth your doing fine. Trust me."

"Heh, thanks. A-Aphmau, are you cold.

"Ehh, kinda. I forgot my jacket." Garroth took off his jacket and put it around me. "Thanks, you know you didn't have to do that." Garroth's eyes sparkled.

"But I wanted too." We headed back to my dorm and I asked Garroth if he wanted to stay. Kawaii~Chan was out. We headed inside and I just wanted to lay down. So I did. Garroth followed me into the bed. He laid down next to me. I inched closer to him and he started to shake. I hugged him.

"Aph." I looked up at him. "I feel like I found my confidence with you."

"What----." He kissed me on the lips. My face burned. Seriously I have a blushing problem. But I could ignore it. I felt safe with Garroth holding me. We ended the kiss and I fell asleep in his arms, while Garroth was rubbing my head.
