Ch. 23: Where is Vylad?

(Aphmau's point of view)

GOSH!!!!! WHERE IS VYLAD!!!!! WE'VE BEEN WAITING FOR HIM ALL DAY!!!!!

"UGH!!!!!! THIS IS TAKING FOREVER!!!! ITS ALREADY 12:30 AND VYLAD LEFT AT 10:30!!!!!" I screamed.

"Aphmau, be patient. He probably ran into his mom. You know how she is Dante!" Laurence said.

"Yep, very fan girly!" Dante said. Laurence nodded.

"But what if-------" Laurence stopped me.

"Aphmau....listen.....Vylad is fine. There's nothing to worry about. Just think positive thoughts." Laurence told me.

"Yeah.....but what if Vylad's dad caught him getting the fragments." I said. Laurence put his hands on my shoulders.

"Just don't think about that now. I'm sure he's fine." Laurence said.

"Are you sure? I'm not just worried about Vylad, ya know." I said.

"I know you miss him." Laurence said.

"Because I do." I said.

"I know. He was like a brother to me and Dante. He's a good guy. A great guy actually. And I can't be like him. I can't be that shy, kind-hearted guy. I want to impress you Aphmau, but I've got competition. You know that." Laurence said.

"Laurence, you don't have to be Garroth. You just have to be you. Don't be someone you're not. Instead of you being that shy, kind-hearted person, I want you to be you. I want you to be that funny and brave person you know you are. Respect that." I said. Wow, I feel inspired by my own words!

"Thanks." Laurence said as I pulled him into a hug. Then we hear clapping. It was Dante.

"Wow, what will Garroth think about this when I tell him." Dante said as he started to laugh. WAIT! WHAT!!!!!

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN!!!!!" I said angrily.

"I mean Garroth will be jealous when i tell him. HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!" Dante said, as he was dying of laughter!

"Just SHUT UP DANTE!!!!!!" Laurence screamed.

"HAHAHAHAHHAHAH!!!!! I'm just kidding!!!! You should know that!" Dante screamed.

"Hey! Can you guys quiet down! I'm trying to think!" Lucinda screamed.

"Sorry." Dante and Laurence said. Then we all heard footsteps outside of the dorm. Lucinda came out from her room. We were all silent. Then the door swung open! I got scared and jumped into Laurence! Oh no! He looked at me and smiled. I smiled back.

"Vylad did you get the soul fragments?" Lucinda asked.

"There's a problem. They weren't there. I think Zane took them." Vylad said.
