~~~~Luke's POV~~~~
    It was a month into your and there were 5 more to go. I hated not being around Nicole, I really did. I stopped taking to much pride in how I look so I stopped quiffing my hair. Most people were shocked but not as shocked as they were when they saw Michael's hair. Their jaws literally hit the floors the first show. So many girls came back stage and asked us why've we changed our hair. Michael's was a short and sweet cover up. "I just needed something new- now maybe I can have coordination," we all laughed at Michael. We all know he's a clumsy goof.
    The show went well, Michael was a lead vocalist for once. It was kinda nice. I like his voice, he thinks it's weird and doesn't sound that amazing but it has a certain tone to it, you know like Ed Sheehan just not as mellow. Michael sings and plays with a passion. So do the rest of the boys but when Michael sings it's just wow. (A/n: sorry I love Michael 😅).
    When we were on the bus Michael suspiciously went to his bunk and closed the curtain. He's been doing this for a while now. I wonder if the guys know anything about that.
   So I decided to take my investigation farther and questioned the boys. "Cal," I called to him gaining his attention as I walked over to him.
    "Hm?" He hums turning around to face me.
    "Do you know why Michael's been coming on the bus and going straight for his bunk recently?" I bluntly ask him looking over to the bunk room.
"No, but when I wake up in the middle of the night I can see a light still on when the curtains closed," Calum informs me looking in the direction I was.
"Okay, thanks Cal," I thanked him leaving him be for the time being.
I head over to Ashton who was silently typing away on his phone. "Hey Ashton," I greet him walking over to take a seat beside the boy.
"What's up?" Ashton questions me smiling a little bit reassuring his attentions on me even though he's still typing something.
"Michael's been acting kinda sneaky for the last couple of weeks. I was wondering if you knew anything about it," I say to him earring his eyes on me and him to fix his posture from a slumped pillow to a very focused individual.
"I don't know exactly but I saw him looking for his phone charger a couple weeks ago and he pulled out a book from his suit case. I don't know if that has anything to do with it but that's the only thing I can think of at the moment," Ashton explains to me.
"Thanks Ash, I just wanted to ask you what you know of this," I tell him shaking my head at my word choices.
"No problem Luke," Ashton says to me smiling then going back to his previous position and typing.
I then go into the bunk room to see Michael's curtain closed, again. I thought about just ripping the curtain open but he could be jerking off and that would be really awkward to see. So instead I ask, "hey Michael, can I talk to you for a bit?" I hear shuffling before he opens the curtain allowing me to see him.
"Sure, what do you need to talk to me about?" He asks me shifting his weight over to the corner of his bed.
"Umm, have you talked to Nicole recently?" I asked him. He seemed to tense up when I mentioned her causing me to get worried. "Have you? Oh my god! Is she okay? Do I need to fly back to her? What's happening?" I questioned Michael. I started to pase around the short hallway. I only got a couple laps in before Michael told me, "it wasn't bad."
"What do you mean?!" I practically shout.
"I mean Nicole is okay, you should know this Luke you text her more than I do. I see you up there smiling at your phone and giggling," Michael laughs a bit.
"I know but she won't actually tell me how she's feeling because she doesn't want me to just end the tour," I blurt out, I know I would end the tour just to make sure she's okay. She did have a good point about disappointing people.
"She's okay Luke, I just," Michael sighs.
     "Michael," I warn, "don't you dare try and tell me it's nothing. I will find out eventually; you never know. Might as well tell me now or forever hold your peace until all hell breaks loose when I figure out what it is you're fucking doing," I spat at him. Him and I both know I will eventually anyways, I'm not the type of person to just brush it off and say meh it's nothing.
   "Luke," Michael whines. He then sighs and retrieves something from under his bed sheets. "I recommend you to read that then. It's not been written in since last year. You'll like some things- somethings... Well you won't," Michael warns me sitting up his laptop again.
    I then hop on top of my bunk and turn to the first page. It was Nicole's diary, well journal as she called it. I felt kind of mad at Michael for not showing me this sooner and reading it but I'm about to read it anyways. Man am I gonna feel guilty later? I am. For now, reading.
    I read through 5 months worth of pages before I finally fell asleep. They were mostly about what she ate that day, complaining about Michael sometimes, and near the ending I saw a little something about me. I liked that part.
   Start to finish. That's my goal.
