Torn (Reader x Poe// Reader x Kylo)

Chapter 1

"On your right, Y/N!" Poe called out to you as he ran towards his X-Wing.

You followed his gaze to see two Storm Troopers quickly advancing towards you and readied your blaster.

"I'll take care of it," You shouted back as you ran closer to the hoard. You aimed your blaster and began at them shooting them, ducking down as they fired back.

"Y/N, you need to get back here!" Poe shouted from behind you.

You grinned as the last Storm Trooper fell to the ground and made your way towards Poe.

When you reached him he wrapped you in a tight hug, "That was close," He mumbled into your hair.

"I know," You said as you tried to catch your breath.

You looked around what seemed to now be an abandoned field and turned back to Poe, "So much for a quiet day off," You laughed as you pressed your forehead against his.

"I know, sweetheart. I'm so sorry," He kissed your forehead, "I'm going to make it up to you, I promise."

It was your first day off in months and Poe had surprised you by taking you to a remote planet. The otherwise peaceful afternoon was interrupted by a First Order raid, but you were glad it was finally over.

"Let's just get back home, Poe."

He began to lower himself into the seat when he let out a sigh. You raised your eyebrow, "What?"

"The damn Storm Troopers busted the engine," He banged his hands on the console in frustration, "This day is just going from bad to worse."

You leaned over and put your hand on his shoulder, trying to calm him down, "What do you need me to do?"

"We need an energy source... Something to kickstart this thing," He pointed to the front of the  X-Wing.

You nodded slowly before saying, "That TIE Fighter might be able to help us out," You gestured towards one of the starfighters the First Order had arrived in.

Poe jumped up, "Oh, Y/N, you're a genius!" He planted a kiss on your forehead agains, "I'll see what I can find," He began to get out of his seat.

You gently ushered him back down again, "You're already in the X-Wing, Poe. I'll go and take a look."

"No, Y/N it's not safe--"

You laughed, "Please Poe, anything that could've harmed us has long gone now. I'll be fine," You pressed your lips to his gently, "Love you."

He grinned, "Love you more," You started to move away from him and he called out, "Shout if you need me!"

You made your way towards the TIE Fighter, which looked to be only a hundred metres away from you.

As you neared the aircraft you heard a ruffling noise. Slowing your pace you edged forward before letting out a muffled scream as someone grabbed you, holding their hand over your mouth.

You tried screaming out for Poe when you realised you were in the grasp of a Storm Trooper.

Poe seemed to notice the commotion and began to run towards you. But it was too late.

You felt your eyelids grow heavy as you heard Poe shouting in the distance, "Get your hands off her! Y/N, stay calm!"

The lack of oxygen was beginning to take its toll and you slowly passed out. The Storm Trooper dragged you into the TIE Fighter before Poe could reach you.

Poe watched helplessly as the Storm Trooper flew away with you in the TIE Fighter before running towards the X-Wing, "I'm going to get you back, my love. I won't stop until you're by my side again," He mumbled.
