The Healer

I duck my head and start to Sprint. I ran though the royals grounds straight into the hunters. As I enter the main doors the speakers beep. Que head mistress Red and her demeaning voice.

"Great news Meredith Cunning high one of are students have discover the ability to heal."

Cheers fill the room and eyes begin too settle on me. I start to run again. Down hall. Nearly there. Nearly there.

"It also seems she is ahhh... mix."

Gasps fill the air. Jeez guys you'd think since all the hunters know each other they would of clicked already.

"Miss Fox when you are not busy please come speak with me to fix your new class schedule. Congratulations on being our first healer and mix at Meredith Cunning high."

I finally get to my door. I unlock it and step inside slamming it in one swift movement. Then I press my back against door. I start sliding down the door before falling in an exhausted heap on the floor. When my door swings back open.

"Ahem?"

Mental crap!

"Hey Jason."

"How? Why? Who?"

"Um.. I was helping an ingured royal my hand slipped and bam. Why because I couldn't controll it and who? Some guy with blue eyes and blonde hair. He was a royal too. He was tall?"

"Great detail now let me think there's about 3000 kids here how many are guys with blonde hair and blue eyes? Like 500 of them!"

I sat there waiting for Jason to calm himself.

"I'm sorry. I didnt mean to snap Phi. I'm just worried about how everyones going to treat you and how it's going to change your life."

"Your telling me."

I say as a light hearted joke. He comes and sits with me. He wraps his arm around me and I snuggle into him. He always there to lean on. We talk and make a plan for tomorrow.

"Mistress said if people found out things would be harder and different."

"I remember."

I walk down the hall in step with Jason. He's taking me to mistress Reds office. He's going to stand out side to take out incoming threats. Look I love Jason and he's a good trainee hunter and all, he's just not going to be able to take out a trained graduated hunter gaurd.

I knock.

"Come in miss Fox."

She knew it was me? Okay not creepy at all. I walk in and take a seat across from her desk. She folds her hands on her lap. She clears her throat before starting.

"Your young so I don't expect you to understand this but your father has claimed you once more. Once graduated you will live with him and then take over his kingdom once he dies or simply steps down. You will graduate hunter and royal but you will not be aloud to look after another royal unless completely necessary. You will go to power tech in stead of health class because from my understanding your powers should be enough. Your dad didn't want to claim you before as a mix is unheard of but as of late your secret has been revealed. Every one seems to be okay with it. So you should be accepted. Hopefully that is."

Dam. She's got a completely blank stare. She's either heart less or dam good at a straight face. Note to self don't play mistress Red in poker. Oh wait she's stopped talking what did she say again?

"How is power tech going to help? No ones ever had healing powers before. What is there for me to learn mistress?"

"They will help if you turn out to have your father's powers as well. Also the power you use comes from yourself. They will teach you how to not over excurt yourself. Plus there maybe ways they can help that I do not know of. It will also be practice time and you know what I always say pra-"
