i keep looking at the dm u sent me a while ago because i can't believe it

i want to believe it

i want to believe that something in ur mind inspired u to compose a sentence
to even send to me
to even consider apologizing
to even point out that what u did is unlike the common way we behave

we behave like children
avoiding our problems
running around them in circles
circles that
never end that stay in a continuum motion
we run in sync
with grace
never catching up with each others pace
i want to believe that u actually mean what u dm'd me
but the possibility is lacking concrete stability
its too high to grab or reach
i can stand here behind the lenses of ur eyes
and preach with hope that u learn how to handle life
before it will teach u
and make u earn the price of obtaining happiness
