I just stood there staring at them. Who would've known that Courtney and Jake would be mates?

"What," Valentino questioned.

"Oh my goddess, Court! Now, you get to stay here forever," I squealed, running to her and embracing her in a hug.

She stood there in shock, not even hugging me back. I pulled away from her looking at her in confusion. "What's wrong," I asked her.

Her eyes darted to Jake, then came back to mine. "I just didn't expect to find my mate here," she whispered.

"You know I can still hear you love," Jake added. Courtney looked at him and blushed, "I didn't ask if you could." Jake stared at her before a slow smirk overcame his face.

I glanced back and forth between them feeling as if I was interrupting a intimate moment.

"So I'll let you two get to know each other," I said while gently pushing Courtney into Jake's arms. Jake smirked and pulled Courtney out of the kitchen. As they were going out, I turned my head to avoid Courtney's malicious glare.

I turned towards Valentino and saw him looking in the direction. They left.

As if he felt me staring, he turned towards me.

"Victoria. I am going to an Alpha meeting in Alabama tomorrow. It would be proper for you to accompany me, as you are my mate and Luna," he simply said, in monotone.

Could he not talk to me like I'm an aquantince?

"Can you not talk to me so formally," I asked him.

"Formally? I'm talking formally," he raged.

I watched as he visibly took a deep breath and relaxed.

"Yeah, I'll try not to be so formal," he chuckled.

"So, Vicky. Are you coming to the Alpha meeting I asked you about," he smirked.

"Does it actually even matter what I say," I smiled.

"Not exactly," he muttered, "So I have to go finish finalizing everything for the trip. I'll be back probably after you're asleep. Don't get into trouble. There are many guards outside the house. Bye."

After his speech, he walked out the door.

I ran to the window to in fact see that there were at least twenty guards outside in the front yard.

I walked back to the kitchen feeling satisfied that I got him to loosen up.

I sighed as I felt a dip in the bed. I felt Valentino move my hair out of my face and whisper, "Vicky are you awake?"

I nodded and turned my body to face him. I looked up at him to see him already looking at me.

He looked at me in confusion and turned away.

'Why is mate turning away? What did you do,'  Amber growled.

What the heck?

He got up and turned on the light and turned back to me.

I watched as his facial expressions changed from confusion, amusement, to exasperation.

"Victoria, what in the Moon Goddesses name are you wearing," he almost yelled.

I looked down at my body to see a new pair of SpongeBob boy shorts and a tank top that had Patrick's face on it.

"What are you talking about? This is normal for me."

"Go change," he ordered pointing towards my closet.

Um... No

"No."

"Go or I'll do it for you," he growled.

I got out of bed and slouch over to the closet. I go towards the back of the closet looking for pajamas that will be appropriate.

I heard Valentino knock on the door and call my name. I walk to the door and ask what he needs. He hands me a shirt that smells like him.

"Wear this," he demanded.

I sighed and put it on. I looked at myself in the mirror.

Dang, this shirt is short. Even considering, Valentino is really tall.

I look around and see the SpongeBob shorts I took off. I grabbed them and put them back on. There was no way I was going out there with no pants on.

I go back out to find the lights off and Valentino in bed.

I watch Valentino as he barks orders into his phone. It's eleven thirty AM and we're scheduled to leave in a small span of fifteen minutes.

When I woke up this morning, I found that my bags had been packed by Bree and Courtney.

Apparently, Courtney and Jake got in late last night.

I'm afraid to see what they packed me because knowing Courtney, something she packed me was going to get me in a comprising position.

I came out of my thoughts to see Valentino snapping at-I'm guessing-the poor pilot of our plane.

I walk to Valentino and rub my hands on his shoulders while looking at the poor man, "I'm terribly sorry about his poor attitude, sir."

I pulled Valentino away after that. He growled and turned to me. "What do you think you're doing Victoria? I was handling it perfectly fine before you came," he snarled.

"Handling what perfectly fine? Scaring the man to death? Oh, I don't think so," I snapped.

"Flight 234 to Mobile, Alabama is boarding."

I glared at Valentino one last time before handing my ticket to the ticket collector. I quickly boarded the plane hearing his footsteps behind me.

"Go find another seat far away from me," I snapped, sitting in my designated seat.
