~||Chapter 16||~

"Yay, you've found the Luna!"

The four wolves looked at me in confusion.

"So? Where is she," I excitedly ask.

The four men keep staring. Like, would it kill them to blink?

'Tori. I think they're looking at you for a reason...,' Amber whispers.

All of a sudden, it hits me. I'm the Luna.

"Oh. Oh... You found me. Okay," I say flusteredly embarrassed. Can I even say something flusteredly? Is flusteredly even a word?

"Okay Luna... I'm going to mindlink the Alpha," The leader wolf said cautiously, looking at me like there was something wrong.

His eyes glazed over, meaning he's mind linking. I look at the other men and see them nod just the tiniest bit. Then leader dude walked away.

I sat down criss-cross applesauce on the forest floor and patted the ground in front of me for the other guys to sit. They obeyed and looked at the scenery, no doubt feeling awkward with their Luna's gaze on them.

I cocked my head to the side,"So how long have I been gone?"

The middle one looked away from a pine cone, into my eyes, "Four hours at most. But it was long enough for Alpha to destroy your house when he came back to find you, Beta Female, and Gamma gone."

That reminded me about Courtney and Terence.

The one on the left started now, "Then he went crazy saying you guys had a date tonight and that you wouldn't willingly leave. Then Beta realized Beta Female was gone and also freaked out."

I nodded. It all made sense. "So what are your names," I asked.

The left said something again. "I'm Cody."

Then the middle. "My name is Carlos."

The right looked up from the ground and glanced in my eyes before looking back at the ground. "Hillon," he mumbled.

I nodded. I almost didn't hear him. If I didn't have my werewolf hearing then I would've been so lost. He's obviously very shy.

As we finished talking, a snarl slash walrus sound thing captured the forest in its sound. We all looked towards where the sound came from. I'm sure if it came down to it, Cody, Carlos, and Hillon would help me but, I'm sure its nothing harmful because my wolf seems enraptured by it.

A black and white wolf with pitch black eyes lunged out of the forest into the small clearing where we were currently sitting. Along with the wolf came leader dude.

The wolf shifted to his human form and I saw a flash of Valentino before I shifted my eyes away because, he shifted back naked.

I heard some rustling, which I'm guessing was him putting on shorts, before I was pulled into a pair of sinewy arms.

I sighed and practically melted into them due to the sparks.

"Mine," I felt his chest rumble.

"Riley, is this how you found her? Unharmed and clad in sweats," Valentino questioned... Leader dude?

Oh so his name isn't leader dude. Well, that's new. Riley or leader dude? Leader dude of course!

"Yes sir. She also seemed kinda out of it. She asked who the Luna was," Leader dude reported and whispered the last part.

I lifted my head up from Valentino's chest to look at leader dude, because I can obviously hear him, but Val pushed my head back down and whispered back, "No that's just regular Vicky."

What? Why are they so rude to me? I don't think its regular Vicky. I think I'm regular Vicky... Wait.

"I want to appoint Riley and Hillion as your personal guards. Is that okay bambino," he asked me.

I looked up and then to the two named men and nodded.

"Okay then, I expect you two at my house by seven A.M. and no later," he told them. Leader dude and Hillion nodded and all four men walked away. Probably home. Or the pack house.

"Let's go home. I'll call the pack doctor to come and double check on you. And you can also tell me what happened."

I honestly don't think I need to be checked on but okay.

"She seems perfectly fine. It seems like there might be a little pressure mentally but she should be fine as long as she doesn't overexert herself," the doctor said.

"Did you hear that baby girl? That means you're on bed arrest," Valentino murmured in my ear.

"It does not. She said no exerting not no moving. There's a difference," I told him.

He shook his head and put his arms around my waist.

"But on another note, I don't think we've met before," the doctor said making my view to change from Val to her. She stuck out her hand, "I'm Cassidy Vasgar, Jake's sister."

I shook her hand.

"I'd give you a hug but there's a giant monkey holding you captive," she commented.

I could feel Valentino grunt at that.

"Well, I'll take my leave. Have a good night and don't forget not to over exert yourself."

Valentino shifted around my body to where he was leaning against the headboard of the bed and I was in his lap with his head on my shoulder.

"So do you want to tell me what happened," he asked.

"Nuh-uh," I shook my hand.

I shimmied out of his embrace and walked to the bathroom. I took a quick shower and brushed my teeth. I got dressed in one of Val's shirts and a pair of his boxers.

I just felt like smelling like him right now.

I walked out of the bathroom and discovered the gorilla asleep in bed hugging my pillow. I crawled into bed and removed the pillow, putting it under my head. As I started to close my eyes an arm when around my waist and crushed me to its chest.

I guess my gorilla is actually a cuddle monkey.

I've decided I was going to go through and fix some things which I haven't done yet but I will soon. And I also won't have many Author's Notes at the bottom unless important.

I can't start writing Author's Notes if I never read them myself.
