I sighed as I skipped down the hall at 5 o'clock in the morning, looking at all the closed doors in the pack house.

Today is my birthday, and my twins's. April 17th. The glorious day of my birth.

Anyways, I'm up at five o'clock in the morning on this glorious day to go to the intercom room so I can blast all throughout our territory to wake up cause it's my birthday!

Finally, I thought as I finally reached the intercom room.

I already know that this idea of mine will totally get me in trouble, but it's worth it.

Okay, let me explain.

My name is Victoria Allen and I'm a werewolf. Today is my twin, Rose, and I's birthday. We're both turning eighteen today, but I was born first. I have an eight year old brother named Tobias, Toby, who has dark brown hair and eyes. My mother was killed a couple years ago by rogues. And my dad is the Beta of our pack which means that today, at five o'clock in the afternoon, I will become Beta because I have come of age.

Then I will rule over the Starlight Path Pack with my one of my friend's brother, Axel.

I checked with my werewolf hearing one more time to make sure that everyone is asleep but me.

I then pulled out my iPhone from my bra and turned on YouTube and started looking up the Gummy Bear song.

Just as it was about to start, I turned up the volume, turned on the intercom, and ran out of there like the road runner. When they all wake up, I do not want to be in there to get caught.

I started laughing as I was running through the halls to the fact that my favorite song was blasting through the speakers.

Yeah, I'm a gummy bear yeah

Oh, I'm a yummy, tummy, funny, lucky gummy bear.

I'm a jelly bear, cause I'm a gummy bear.

Oh, I'm a movin', groovin', jammin', singin' gummy bear.

I started doing a little chant that I came up with when I was younger, "I love gummy bears. Oh so yummy gummy bears."

I kept chanting it until I ran into a wall.

"What the heck? Why is this wall here? I could've sworn there was never a wall here," I started mumbling.

"That's because there isn't," the wall said.

"This is just getting weirder and weirder. The freaking wall is talking to me. Oh my goodness, what if I'm going crazy? I can't be the Beta if I'm crazy," I mumbled.

"Tori look up."

I looked up and saw my dad... Well, that explains a lot.

"Oh... Hi dad. Umm it's my birthday today," I said hopefully.

"The Alpha wants you in his office. Something about waking up at five in the morning."

"Oh... That. Okay. Well, I'll be on my way then."

I just now realized that the music stopped. Who dare stops my music? I feel like I shouldn't go to Alpha Axel's office. I'm actually afraid. I don't know if he'll go hard on me or not. Even if it's my birthday.

But then again his little sister, CeCe, is one of my best friends. We have a bit of a past.

'Victoria, did your father tell you I need you in my office?' I heard through my mindlink with the Alpha.
