Truth or Dare? (An Austin Mahone Fan Fiction)

Chapter 1

All of a sudden I hear an annoying voice call out "Dani! Babe! You're my partner so come sit on my lap and come study with me!" I turned around to see him. It was one of the douche bags, none other then the lead douche, Austin Mahone.... Great just great!
(Sarcastic)

Dani's P.O.V.

Austin: Im waiting!

I turned around and gulped and bent down to grab my bag.

Austin: Damn!

I turned and he was staring at me.. I really didn't want to be his partner! I walked over to his desk and took a seat next to him and waited for instructions. While the teacher was explaining what to do I felt Austin's hand trying to get a hold of mine, I quickly slap his and he chuckled. We haven't even started to study and he was already annoying me so I raised my hand up so the teacher, Mrs. Bell could call on me.

Mrs. Bell: Yes Dani?
Me: Is there anyway I can switch partners?

The whole class took that as a joke and started laughing at me.

Mrs. Bell: Now Miss.Brooks you know the rules, once I pair you up you're stuck like that sorry you're just going to have to make it work! Okay?
Me: Yes ma'am...

Austin: Why would you want to NOT be my partner?
Me: Because you're annoying and disgusting!
Austin: Well sorry Miss Goody Goody!
Me: Don't even start. Lets just get through this work sheet and hope this class goes by fast.

I had never really talked to Austin before, the only times would be to correct him with his grammar and snappy comebacks that would come after that.

While we were working I told Austin to answer half of the questions. I had already finished my half so I was watching him work. He hasn't even answered the first question and he looked angrily confused from my view. I read through the question and immediately saw that the answer was A.... I thought about giving him little hints. Hmmm what could I say?..

Me: I like listening to "the wAy"...

He gave me a confused look.

Me: Do you watch Pretty Little Liars? I really want to know who "A" is!

He looked back at the paper... He read the question and then slowly circled A and looked back at me and I nodded and he gave me a little smirk.

Me: Okay five more questions lets goo!

He smiled and said "thanks.." softly.

I had to help him with the rest as well... I know he wasn't acting he really needed help. We finally finished and I turned the work out in.

Austin: So what do we do now? I've never finished first...
Me: Mrs.Bell lets me use my phone... I'm assuming since we're both done we can get on our phones.
Austin: Oh okay cool!

This small talk was kind of annoying me... I sorta wanted to know more about Austin but then again I didn't, so I just kept quiet.

I got on twitter.

Austin: You have a twitter?
Me: What? Me? No..

I hesitated because I owned a Justin fan account and I didn't need people knowing that.

Austin: But isn't-
Me: No. What's twitter anyways?
Austin: Never mind.

I felt stupid for bashing out on him like that... If anyone ever found out that I have a fan account I would die, it's like my diary. When I need to let something out I rant about it on twitter because my followers in a way understand me.

I guess I was thinking really hard about that and went off to my own world because I found Austin snapping me back into class.

Austin: Are you going to answer my question?
Me: What question?
Austin: I asked if you were single!

Oh I actually thought that he dropped his douche act but then that came out.
The bell rang for next period and I rolled my eyes at him.

Me: Uh bye!

In line at lunch

Dani's P.O.V.


Serena: So Dani how's it going with Austin the hottie?
Me: Don't even with that! You know I don't like him! He's a complete douche.
Serena: Okay okay!

Austin's P.O.V.


I had just sat down with the guys for lunch. The guys were rambling on about some stupid fight that was going down this weekend... Robert and Zach were in to that stuff.. I didn't hate it.. I've fought in a few of those fights before but I was more focused on something else... Well more like someone else. She was about two tables ahead of me.

Alex: Hey Austin who you checking out?
Me: Huh? What?

I realized that I was starring.

Me: Have you guys ever just noticed that girl?
Zach: What girl?
Me: Dani Brooks...
Alex: Why do you like her or something?
Me: Well the fact that she's not drooling over me makes me go crazy!
Tyler: Austin why are you going to worry about that? Every single other girl drools over you, she's just one girl.

The guys went back to going in their own conversation but I couldn't take my eyes off Dani.

Dani's P.O.V.


Serena: Looks like someone's checking you out!
Me: Excuse me?
Serena: Look up... It's spelled A-U-S-T-I-N ! (she said quietly so only I could hear)

I looked up and saw him. He turned to his friends as if he didn't even catch my eye.

Me: Serena you're such a bad lier he wasn't even looking! (I pretended to act clueless)
Serena: Dani I wasn't lying!
Me: Sure you weren't. (I said with some sass)
Serena: Okay fine.

She got up from her seat and she was eye balling Austin's table... Not good!

Me: No no no! Serena I believe you! Just sit down!

She continued to ignore me and grabbed my wrist and dragged me all way to his table.

Zach: Ooh! Hey babe's!
Robert: What brings you ladies here?
Serena: Umm eww Zach! And I'm here to talk to Austin.

I face palmed, my cheeks were probably turning a light shade of pink.

Me: shut up Serena! (I whispered)
Austin: Yes?
Serena: Were you or were you not, checking out Dani a little while ago?
Alex: He wa-
Austin: I was NOT, checking her out.
Serena: Oh...... Well just forget what I just said because this is just... Um awkward...

We walked back to our seats and I punched Serena's arm.

Serena: Owww!
Me: Um thanks for making a fool out of me!
Serena: And you care because? I thought you didn't like him?
Me: I don't. Lets just forget that even happened.
Serena: Okay, and sorry.

We got up to throw our trays away. I spun around to face the table to grab my bag. While I was walking someone slapped my ass. I turned around with a "Are you kidding me?" expression and saw that it was Austin that had done it.

Austin: You know what? I was checking you out, keep it sexy!

I was about ready to smack him across the face but Serena stopped me.

Serena: Just ignore him! You can't be getting in trouble and you know it!

I huffed and turned to the opposite direction from Austin and carried on as if nothing even happened.

Austin was really pushing my buttons. If he needed help tomorrow in class I was for sure not going to help without an apology.

Dani's P.O.V.

9th period


I finally got to my last class, I was so done with today. The class that I had right now was Chemistry. I was the third person that walked in the room so I grabbed my lab journal and took a seat. Our teacher doesn't care where we sit and who we sit with unless she has to tell us to be quiet more than once. I took a seat at the second middle table to the front and put my head down.

Someone tapped my shoulder. I looked up and it was Sam, my ex.

Me: Yes?
Sam: Is it okay if I sit here?

There was no reason for him not to so I nodded. I looked around and saw that Serena had just took the seat on the side of me. I waved then looked back at Sam.

Sam: So...

I could tell something was bothering him.

Me: What is it?
Sam: I saw what Austin did to you at lunch... Are you guys..
Me: Oh my gosh. Noooooooo, I would never date him.
Sam: Well that's a relief!
Me: But why would it be any of your business if we were?
Sam: Dani you know I still like you okay.. And sometimes I get a little jealous that's it.
Me: Oh... sorry.

The late bell rang for class and the teacher, Mrs. Parker walked up to the front.

Mrs. Parker: Okay today we are going to go in more depth into the properties of sub-

She was interrupted by some idiots that finally decided to show up. Those idiots called themselves "the crew".

Austin: WE'RE HEREEEE!
(he shouted)
Mrs.Parker: Why are you boys late to my class again?
Robert: We were getting high in the restroom!
Mrs.Parker: Excuse me?
Zach: He's kidding! We were just walking around until security stopped us.
Mrs.Parker: Why? You boys just decide that you can do what ever you want? Well you can't, detentions after school tomorrow for all of you!
Tyler: But-
Mrs.Parker: But nothing Stanush! Now take some seats and be quiet.

Sam and I laughed at the fact they got in trouble.

Austin and Alex took a seat in the table right behind me.... I'm assuming it was Austin's choice.

Throughout the whole lesson Austin was bothering me. He was kicking my chair, throwing stupid notes at me, and adding little comments to everything Mrs.Parker was saying.

When we got the handouts Sam turned around and told Austin to stop.

Austin: What are you her boyfriend? No, so just turn back around.

I could see that Sam was bothered by Austin as well but I told him just to ignore him.

After class


Austin walked up to me. He kept touching me while I was trying to talk to Serena and Sam. I continued to tell him to stop. I looked at Sam and he had jealousy written all over him.

Next thing I knew he was pulling me in for a kiss to get back at Austin. He whispered "I'm sorry I just couldn't handle it" in my ear right after. I kinda missed his kisses but its kinda too late for him.

Sam: I hope you had a nice view of that Austin! Later.

I pushed Austin out of my way and walked out of the building with Serena.

Me: Hey I need to get going I can't be late for... Ya know. (By that I meant dance class)
Serena: I know. Bye see you tomorrow!

I quickly walked to my moms car and I was off.

Dance class


Class had just ended but I would always stay after to get the room to myself so I could dance freely. I was flipping through my playlist on my phone and I thought that "Back to December" by Taylor Swift would be a good lyrical song.

I took all my frustration out by dancing. Dance was my own little thing... No one could judge me because if you know the basics then it's art in a way. I felt powerful with the way I danced. I could tell a whole story just by dancing, I don't have to speak and I just loved the feelings it brought me.

I would only stay about 15 minutes after class but that was enough for me. Right after dance I would go straight home.

Dinner


I hated dinner... Not the food, but my surroundings. It was absolutely quiet, and not because I was alone.. I wished I was alone! My mom and Dad wouldn't say a word. I wasn't at all close to my dad. He's always so caught up with his dumb job and he doesn't make any effort to spend time with me so I just don't talk to him because we'll end up fighting. He always has to put his own input on something and his inputs aren't nice. Plus I never really forgave him for the whole Sam stuff. Now for my mom... We're close but we just had small talk over diner while my dad was around.

Right after diner I would take my dog outside and feed him, take a shower, do my home work, get on the Internet then go to sleep. It was pretty hectic but I dealt with it.
