Ivy was led through the warehouse, her mind full of unanswered questions. Where was she? Was she going to be okay? Who were the people after her? Why hadn't her parents told her of her heritage?

The building they entered was large and spacious, it was a red stoned mansion with white window sills that cleaned the house up. She marvelled at the huge mahogany door, a gold door knocker sat glaring at her with eyes like an old man. She shivered, it was quite eerie and somehow familiar.

Inside the house finally, she looked around curiously. Instead of lavish sofa's and chandeliers like the Sanctuary, it had wooden rickety tables and chairs. A large sofa that didn't quite match the feel of the house and subtle decorations to top it off. It was comforting in a strange way, reminding her of the life that she could of had.

She was led outside a kitchen with white tiled walls and oak sides.

"Wait here." Murmured a stony faced Irian.

"Okay, what shall we do with her?" Ivy realised with a sharp clarity that they were deciding whether to keep her alive or not. Her life was in strangers' hands. They had told Alex to stay in the warehouse without a second thought and her heart went out to him.

"I say we feed her to those dirty pigs!" Shouted a woman, India?

"India, I'm not sure you want to do that-" India it was then.

"Maybe, Indi's right. . ." Ivy's stomach clenched. She wasn't about to let some random strangers decide her fate. She would take it into her own hands.

With a glance at the door she wondered what would happen if she stayed. She felt an odd pull towards these people. With a shake of her senses she dashed towards the door in a flash and zigzagged between corridors. She kicked the door open and raced towards the warehouse. Once inside, she ran to Alex and dragged him up.

"What're you doing?!" Ivy sighed and rolled her eyes at Alex's slow mind.

"Getting us out of here, dummy." He nodded and went flat out by her side towards a nearby field.

She didn't know where she was going but she knew that she needed to get away from these people who sent her world reeling.

After all, it was the only way.

Was it not?
