Chapter Thirty-Five: "Welcome to the world baby Hemmings."

I finally made it to the hospital and rushed my mum inside.

"Please help my mum." I yelled out. A nurse immediately ran over to us.

"What happened?" she asked. I explained to her about what had happened and that my dad was on his way.

"Okay well we have to get her into a bed and a hospital room." she explained. Someone rolled over a gurney to us and helped my mum on. The started to roll her and finally got to a empty room. The doctor looked at her as I held her hands.

"It's okay mum, dad is on his way." I assured her. She nodded at me and said nothing as sweat ran down her face. Then the door busted open.

"I'm here!" my dad said as he ran over to the other side of her.

"Hey baby I'm here." he said, running his hand down the side of her face.

"Okay Mrs. Hemmings you have lost a lot of blood but the baby is coming now." the doctor explained. I held her hand as tight as possibly could. I wasn't going anywhere. I looked over at my mum and she looked like she was in so much pain, which made me want to cry but I had to hold it together for her. The doctor told her to push over and over again and after what felt like years I heard the cry of the baby.

"Oh thank god." my dad said softly and my mum laid back.

"It's a girl!" the doctor said.

I have a sister! Wow I'm actually an older sister. I've just always been used to being an only child that everything right now was such a shock.

"You hear that Tessie we have another daughter." my dad said to my mum, but she didn't move. Her eyes were shut and she was breathing very slowly. The doctor pushed me out of the way so he could get to my mum.

"What's going on? What's wrong with her?" my dad said frantically.

"She's lost way too much blood." the doctor said.

"Well she's gonna be okay right?" I said. He said nothing and my dad started to cry which meant things weren't okay.

"Get them out of here." the doctor said and the nurse tried pushing me out of the room along with my dad.

"No we can't just leave her. Mum!" I cried. I guess my dad understood that we had to give them the space so he grabbed me and pulled me out of the room. When we were in the hall I broke down even more.

"Dad she has to be okay. We can't go on without her. She has to be okay, dad please tell me she's okay." I cried to him. He just hugged me in his arms as we sat and just waited. After almost an hour the nurse came out.

"You're wife is okay." she assured us, and I didn't stand there anymore. I pushed past her and ran into the room. My mum sat up with her eyes open and she looked extremely tired. I ran over to her and hugged her as hard as I could.

"You can't go anywhere okay. You have to stay here and make sure that me and dad don't kill each other. You have to make pancakes every Sunday and just be my mum" I cried into her shoulder.

"It's okay my love, I'm not going anywhere for a long time." she said softly. I looked up at her and she smiled at me. My dad walked over and hugged her too, she kissed her like it would have been the last one.

"You and me forever." he whispered to her.

"I don't mean to interrupt but I figured you would like to meet your daughter." the nurse said. She carried her in a pink blanket. She handed my mum the baby.

"I'm never gonna get used to this whole dad thing." my dad admitted. I looked down at her in my mum's arms.

"Welcome to the world baby Hemmings." my mum said.

"Paisley." I said. Both my parents looked at me.

"You want to hold your baby sister Charlotte?" my mum asked.

"Oh I don't know I'm afraid that I might hold her wrong or something-" my mum cut my off

"Don't be silly." she said and started to hand her to me. I took her in my arms and was so gentle, not to hurt her in any way. I sat down on the chair next to my mum's bed.

"Hey there Paisley. I'm your big sister." I said. Her eyes slowly opened and looked up at me. Wow I'm actually a big sister.

"Here dad." I said. I stood up and handed her to my dad. He looked like the happiest man alive. Suddenly my phone started to ring and it was Tate.

"Hey." I said to him.

"Hey! All I get is a hey? Charlie what's going on, is your mum okay, is the baby okay?I have everyone at your house freaking out now please let me know what's going on." he yelled over the phone in a worried tone.

"Tate calm down. Just come to the hospital, there's someone I want you all to meet." that's all I said before hanging up.

Me, my mum and dad all waited patiently for everyone to arrive.  We had the nurse bring the baby into the other room so everyone could have there final guess on the gender. Finally there was a knock at the door.

"Come in." my mum said. The door opened and Calum's head poked through, then he opened the door fully and everyone came in.

"Hey everyone." Luke said. Tate walked over and stood next to me as my dad talked.

"So we were just able to welcome the new Hemmings baby into the world, and before we reveal him or her we all want you guys to guess the gender first." my dad explained.

"God a hate guessing games." Michael announced, and everyone laughed.

"Okay so everyone for boy?" my mum asked. Michael, Shannon, Mathew, and Ashton all raised their hands.

"Girl?" My dad asked and Tate, Alex, Calum, Claire and Ashton's Wife,Christine  all raised their hands.

"Charlotte will you please get your sibling from the other room?" my mum said. I nodded and left the room. The nurse took the baby out of the nursery and handed her to me. She opened the door and revealed me and Paisley to the crowd of people,Once everyone saw me they all cheered.

"Fuck I was wrong." Michael said.

"Fuck you Mike I told you it was gonna be a girl." Calum said to Michael, as he pouted. I handed the baby to my mum.

"Everyone meet Paisley Anne Hemmings."

A/N: Hey guys I know it's taken me forever to update I've just been sick and not really feeling the greatest but here is the update. Next update will probably be another flashback chapter but I'm not entirely sure yet though. Finally baby Hemmings is here. Were you right about the gender, leave that in the comments.
