I finally knew someone was there after I was done singing when I sensed a dark presence with a little light in their soul... I could tell it was Zane... but why is there good in his soul? Last time I sensed his presence it was all darkness... Is he worried about me? I shuttered... but only barely... I still felt like I had no soul... or was I controlled by a shadow soul this whole time? I felt like a shadow was lifted... but it wasn't completely gone... was I born a shadow knight THEN I must have been taken over by a shadow soul when I was younger! Then... I had a flashback... my irises grew small as I saw the small video of a memory play in front of me.
~Start of flashback~
I was walking in the forest with my friends trying to find a way back to Phoenix Drop... when we were separated from each other. "Emmalyn?" I yelled, looking around. I could feel a dark presence around me... Then a shadow soul appeared... "Who... Who are you?"I asked. It was a child shadow soul I could tell by the height. "Your worst nightmare..." It said and flew towards me. I screamed as it came into a cut that was on my wrist from dueling with Brendan earlier. I fainted after it made it's way into my blood...
~End of Flashback~
"Is she going to be okay?" A female voice asked. I used my powers to tell who it was... a very... light soul... "Aphmau?" I asked weakly...
