Chapter 41 Sonya

 ~Angel's POV~

Oh my Irene... I thought as I walked through the village. "Do you like it? We built it all from scratch!" She said. "Like it?! This place looks AMAZING!" I tell her, spinning in my spot where I stopped, then continued to walk. She laughed, she looked like she was almost always happy. I felt bad... I didn't think she knew what life was truly like... "Here we are! Home sweet home!" She said happily. I hadn't realized I was... still in my Irene form... and everyone was staring at me. "Um... Why is everyone in the village staring at me?" I asked nervously. "Oh! That's because you still have the wings on your back." She said looking at me. I focused and tried to turn out of my form but couldn't... then I felt someone pull a feather out... they pulled extremely hard. I felt my eyes go red as a bright red light illuminated from me... I turned to the person who did that... "Don't. Do. That. Again." I tell them. I turned back to the house feeling... like I should have run not fight... Laurance... 'WHAT THE HECK, ANGEL, WHY ARE YOU THINKING OF LAURANCE NOW!? STAY FOCUSED BRAIN!' I thought trying to not slap myself. I stared at the floor as I tuned in to my normal self. I felt tears in my eyes... "I'm gonna take my leave now... I don't care about my mission anymore... maybe I should go back to O'khasis..." I said starting to walk away. "Wait!" The girl yelled at me, so I stopped, and saw her running towards me. "Wait don't leave! My dad's a shadow knight too. Don't worry! I will make sure that there is no one in the town center so you will feel comfortable." She told me. "You never told me your name... what is it?" I asked her. "Sonya is my name! Don't wear it out!" she said, laughing. I laughed too, except it was a sad type of laugh. When she left I started to sing.

The song was for my shadow knight form. I just stood there looking back at the direction back to Phoenix Drop. Nekoette gave me about four apples. She even said once I come to visit she will make sure there is an apple pie ready for me. "Angel! Daddy wants to see you now!" Sonya came running up to me. "Okay, Sonya." I said following her... It reminded me when they first accepted me as a villager of O'khasis... I would follow Garroth around the village and see all the amazing places when we were younger...
