Chapter 42 Erny

~Angel's POV~

The negotiations went well... so Sonya is now traveling with me... she's always happy now that she's out of her village. She even told me that the reason he accepted it right away was because she didn't live up to the family name. She had never killed anyone in her life. She knew she had magicks but could only sense others auras right now. I taught her how to hide her aura and she does it whenever we meet a traveler to get practice. I make sure to tell them that she's just practicing hiding her aura. We set up camp... well more like I set up camp. Sonya was out somewhere in the trees. When I finished is when she showed up. "So... Where did you go this time?" I asked as I finished up putting my tent up. "Oh you know... ahead to scout out a way. By the way there is a village a few miles ahead." She responded. "We can head there in the morning... you need your rest. Your aura is weaker than when you left." I tell her, I knew she was trying to hid it from me, but I can get around it easily, especially if they are a beginner. She walked over to her tent, and laid down. She fell asleep in the first two minutes. I went to bed too, but because she had no guard training I slept with one eye open, and listened for any danger... then I saw a shadow and a flash of black eyes in the night. I waited till I was out of his view to get silently up. I turned into a shadow knight with no bright red light. My shadow knight form must have thought to remain hidden... I snuck up behind him. He held a sword like he was about to kill Sonya! I silently got closer as I heard him mutter, "Grandfather will be proud. So will father..." "No you don't!" I yelled as I tackled him as he was about to kill Sonya. He had a strong aura about him, he was definitely one of the children I was looking for. Sonya woke up when I yelled. I had the boy pinned to the ground with my sword pointed at his throat. "W-who a-are y-you?" He asked, staring up at me. I smiled a bit, then turned into my Irene form. There was a blinding flash of white. And when it faded he was extremely shocked. "Oh... my goodness! I thought she was Shad, cause she has the exact same aura as he did." He said nervously. I took my sword from his neck. "I will not kill you because you are related to Enki... and have some of his Magicks..." I said, he stood up, then he looked down. "I have to kill her or my family will think I am a disgrace to the family name..." He started... "Then run away! You can come with us!" I tell him. "I'll go check if they say no I will run away... if they say yes I will go with you with them knowing... but I think my dad should meet you first... and not her..." He said, pointing at Sonya. "HEY! I have a name too you know!" She said/yelled at him. "You never told me..." he replied. "THAT'S BECAUSE YOU TRIED TO KILL HER!" I yelled at him. "My name is Sonya..." Sonya muttered. "Okay, Sonya, and you?" He asked me. "Angel. Angel Heart of Phoenix Drop." I say standing up taller. "Okay... We have introduced ourselves." "Not ALL of us have." I say. "Hm? Oh ya my name is Erny." he said, taking me to his village...
