Dear Max,
Well, it's been a long time since I've heard your voice. I haven't talked to you since your last day here in Arcadia Bay. You haven't even sent a text my way since you left. Have you replaced me already?
I know the phone works both ways, but I don't want to bother you. I never know if your busy or out and I don't want to ruin it. I'm never busy, you could call or text me at any time and I would answer.
In other news, Mom is moving on and is out on a date with a guy as I'm writing this. I'm glad she's finding love after what happened to Dad, but I think it's too soon. Now, I know I'm just a fifteen year old that never experienced love, but Dad died just a little over a year ago. How can she move on that quickly?
I haven't met the guy yet, but I know he met Mom at the diner a while ago and he's a retired soldier. I don't want to judge him too much before meeting him, but I know that he won't live up to the man my dad is. Was.
Summer here in Arcadia is warmer than usual. Our friends and I went down to the pool down the street from my house today. It was fun, but it would've been more enjoyable with you here. Being with our friends just isn't the same without you.
I hope to hear from you soon. Please don't leave me alone, Max.
