Dear Max,
It's my sweet sixteen! I don't really know what's sweet about it. I had a birthday cake with Mom and David, but besides that, no friends showed up to my big birthday blowout. It's alright, I guess. I know that you would've made an appearance if you were here.
In their defense, I haven't been the greatest friend I have the potential of being. They keep saying I'm heading down a "dark and dangerous path" and they don't want to be associated with that. Just because I've started hanging with older kids I'm suddenly a "bad influence"
I recently chopped all of my hair off. It's cut right under my ears with choppy layers and I absolutely love it! It's so much easier to manage and it makes me look a lot older.
Anyway, I should get back to my "Party" I'll write again super soon.
Captain Chloe
