C h a r l o t t e

I held onto Niall's hand tightly.
Tears streamed down my face.

I don't know why I care so much.
I've known him about a week, and I already care so much about him. I know that it's in my 'nature' to be sweet and caring.

A large hand was placed on my left shoulder.

"He'll be alright, he's strong." A deep British accent said from behind me.
I turned around and saw a tall brunette boy, adorned in tattoos similarly to Niall, his chocolate brown eyes full of sympathy.

"If we hurry now, we can get him to the hospital quickly." The boy said.
I only nodded, not trusting my words.

The boy picked up Niall's limp body, and carried him towards the door.
I quickly stood up and followed him.

Once we were all in the car, the boy spoke up.

"I'm Liam by the way," the boy smiled.

"I'm C-Charlotte." I smiled back.

Liam soon pulled up to the hospital, Sacramento Regional to be exact.
We climbed out of the black Mercedes, and Liam carried Niall into the hospital.

"We, n-need help. My f-friend is injured," I stuttered out, wiping off stray tears with the sleeve of my cardigan.

"How badly is he injured?" The lady asked, full of boredom.

"He's badly injured. He needs a fucking Doctor!" Liam said, getting angry now.

The lady seemed startled, which caused her to nod and quickly type something into the computer.

A doctor soon came, taking Niall onto a stretcher along with some other nurses.

Liam and I made our way to the waiting room, sitting down on a couch-like bench.

"Liam, I-I'm scared," I whispered to the tall boy, wiping more stray tears from my face.

"Charlotte, you'll be alright. And I know that you care about Niall, I can see it in your eyes. And I know Niall cares about you, because he hasn't shut up about you since about a week ago.
He'll pull through for you." He told me.

I nodded and leaned into his shoulder.
He rested a reassuring arm around my shoulders.
