Three Months Later
"You look beautiful babe." Niall whispered into my ear from behind me.
There we stood, together.
His arms around my waist from behind, my arms overlapping his as we stood in front of the full length mirror.I looked at my outfit.
I smiled at him.
"Thanks Ni, you look handsome." I replied.
Niall was in a white t-shirt, a black blazer, black dress pants and black dress shoes. He really did look handsome.
"I can't believe we're graduating highschool." I said.
"Aren't you glad it's over?" Niall asked, swaying us from side to side.
"Yeah, I mean. But I'm gonna miss it."
I sighed."I'm not." Niall stated.
-
We made it to the school with ten minutes to spare. We all had gotten in our seats with our gowns and hats on, ready to be called.
"Hello everyone, today is a very special day. We're sending our beloved seniors out into the real world. They've all come a long way and we are sad to see them go. Except for the pranksters. We're going to start calling up students to get their diplomas now," Principal Jones said.
"You know it!" Niall stood and called out to the principal.
He was ignored as the first student was called.
"Nicole Ali,"
The principal called up more students, and we sat there clapping and cheering for people.
"Charlotte Green," I heard a few voices cheer louder than others.
"Congratulations, Ms. Green. Do you have anything you'd like to say?"
I nodded and she urged me to go ahead and speak.
"Um, I had a very interesting senior year. I did get good grades and I met the most amazing group of boys in my life." I looked at all five boys in the crowd.
They stood and cheered at themselves while I giggled from the stage.
"But most significantly, I met the most amazing boy whom I love." I smiled down at the ring on my finger.
I saw that the boys patting Niall on the back.
"That's very sweet darling," she cooed.
"Congrats to Charlotte Green for earning her diploma!" I was handed the paper and I smiled as the people clapped.
"Go babygirl!" I heard someone shout from the crowd.
I looked over to Niall and smiled at him. Making my way off the stage, I returned to my seat, next to Niall.
He smiled at me, pecking my lips and resting his hand on my thigh.
Leaning my head on his shoulder, we listened to a few more people getting called."Niall Horan," Niall stood up, pecking my lips again before walking up on the stage.
"Congratulations young man, is there anything you'd like to say?" Niall nodded and began to speak.
"This year I barely passed, unlike my girlfriend who passed with flying colours," Some people snickered from the crowd.
"Anyways, this year was interesting. I met the girl of my dreams, Charlotte Elyse Green. I can't wait until we're a little older so that I can propose to her and start a family. She changed me in all the right ways. And I love her for that." My face became crimson and I put my head down, looking at my shoes.
The crowd 'awwwed' and one of the boys yelled 'get some!'.
Niall received his diploma and retreated back to his seat next to me.
All the boys eventually went up, mentioning me and Niall at least once in each of their 'speeches'.
Most of them were quite funny.
We were now headed to a restaurant as a group of six.
"Work, work, work, work, work, work!" Louis and Harry sang simultaneously as we drove down the highway. I covered my ears and buried my head into Niall's shoulder.
"This is embarrassing," I groaned. He chuckled and wrapped his arms around me.
We were sitting in our usual seats.
Harry driving, and Louis up front this time, Liam on the back right seat, Zayn in the middle, and Niall on the left with me in his lap.Harry pulled up to the restaurant and we all climbed out, making our way in.
"Hi, welcome to Olive Garden. What can I start you out with?"
