[25] - Waking Up
N i a l l
Pain and sadness literally go hand in hand. Pain is something you feel when your sad, or depressed. In this case, I'm sad and in pain. My head is pounding, my chest feels like someone stabbed it multiple times.
But I actually got shot.
I know that I probably disappointed Charlotte, because she told me not to close my eyes, but I did.
The door to the hospital room flung open, revealing my nurse, Sharon.
"Niall! Dear lord your awake! We were about to put you on life support." She sighed.
"I'm fine, where's Lottie?" I croaked out.
"You mean Charlotte? She was here about a week ago when you were brought in, but she hasn't been back since. I could call her if you'd like," The middle aged woman smiled.
"I'd like that very much," I smiled as much as my mouth would allow.
-
C h a r l o t t eI curled up under Niall's blanket again.
I hadn't left the bed for the past week, and the boys regularly checked on me, even though I refused to eat.
I was just about to fall back asleep, but the high shrilling sound of my phone woke me up from my light sleep.
"Hello?" I said sleepily.
"Is this Charlotte?" A female voice asked.
"Yes ma'am, it is." I said into the phone.
"I'm Sharon, Niall's nurse, he has woken up and wants to see you." She spoke.
"Oh my god! I'll be there soon!" I hung up the phone.
I immediately jumped out of bed, sliding on leggings and boots, not even taking off Niall's shirt.
I quickly threw my hair into a ponytail, then grabbed my phone and the keys to Niall's truck.
Each boy had the same type of truck, except different colours.
Niall's was black.
I barreled down the stairs, the boys give me weird stares.
I don't even care.
-
N i a l l"She's coming up, and you can get dressed, you're getting discharged today," Sharon poked her head into the room.
I quickly changed, even though it hurt, making the bed and placing the hospital gown on the end of the bed neatly.
I sat back down on the bed, flicking through the channels on the Telly.
The door flung open again only minutes later, an excited but tired
Charlotte on the other side."Babygirl," I breathed. She looked absolutely breathtaking, wearing my shirt, leggings, and boots. Her hair was a wreck, but that made her even more beautiful.
"Ni," She whispered, running into my open arms. To be honest, it did hurt my chest, but I didn't care. I had my babygirl back in my arms and that's all that mattered.
"Niall, I saw the post it notes on the wall, I saw the calendar, I saw that you were writing songs. I saw it all. And that makes me love you even more. Even if we both end up in the hospital constantly," she giggled at the last part.
My face turned crimson, I didn't want her to see the post it notes yet, but they were already on the wall and I wasn't even finished putting them up.
"Babygirl, I wasn't ready for you to see that yet." I chuckled nervously.
"Who cares, I loved it. Even if it made me cry." She said, resting one hand on each side of my face.
She stood in her tiptoes, kissing my lips softly.
It wasn't a rough kiss, it was sweet and soft one, full of desire. Her hands tangled in my hair, my fingers digging into her sides.
She's my everything.
