"Everyone pass in your maths test, then you're free to go." Mrs. Freeman smiled. I smiled genuinely, passing in my test to the teacher.
"Goodbye Mrs. Freeman! Have a nice weekend!" I said from the doorway.
"You too, Charlotte! Now shoo!" I giggled, giving a small wave and exiting the classroom.
The halls were busy as always, bustling about with tiny freshman all the way up to annoyed teachers.
I looked around to find Meredith, my best friend. She was gorgeous and I loved her. I didn't have many friends so she took me under her wing, in a way.
I finally saw the blonde locks of that belonged to Meredith, and she was standing at her locker:
"Bye Charlotte!" Meredith called out.
"Bye Meredith!" I called back, putting my things into my locker. I grabbed my large brown purse and headed towards the doors, a light bounce in my step.
All of a sudden I felt myself being grabbed by someone and thrown into a dark room. The motion-censored lights turned on, making my eyes hurt for a few seconds.
Why am I in the bathroom?
And who is in here with me?
"Hello, sweetheart." He said.
"Aaron? Do you need something? I'll help you study or something," I smiled kindly.
"Ohh, Charlotte. You are so oblivious." He smirked, gripping my wrists against the wall.
"This isn't studying," I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion.
Aaron rolled his eyes, leaning his face in. I turned my head, and screamed for help.
"Shut it, goldilocks." Is he insulting my hair?
But, I'm not a blonde.
That's not even offensive.
I shook my head, continuing to scream for help. No one heard me, it was pointless but I had to continue trying.
Aaron raised his large hand.
He was going to hit me.
Sure enough, I felt the pain.
"Stop! Just leave me alone! Please!" I screamed, tears falling down my cheeks. He growled.
Yes, growled, like a fricking bear.
He hit me again and again, until I was almost unconscious. My vision was blurry, but I could see the bathroom door slam open.
"What the hell is going on?" The figure said.
"He's t-trying to r-ra-" I started to sputter out, only to be shut out by Aaron.
"Nothing," he spat.
"What was she trying to say?" The boy completely ignored Aaron's statement.
"Nothing, now le-" He was cut off once again by the boy.
"What the hell was she trying to say?" The boy growled.
I took this chance to speak again.
"R-rape." My mouth wouldn't let me speak a full sentence, I was trembling too much.
"What?" The boys' blue eyes snapped down to me.
"R-rape." I repeated, a little louder.
"He tried raping you?" He asked me.
I nodded my head in agreement.
The blonde had Aaron pinned against the wall. Punches and kicks were thrown. I turned my head and covered my ears, not wanting to watch or hear what was going on.
My head began spinning, my vision blurring away. I knew what was happening. I was falling into unconsciousness.
-
White lights blinded my vision, causing me to immediately close my eyes.
A deep chuckled sounded throughout the room.
"Who is you?" I sputtered out. I had a tendency to speak incoherent things when I was around intimidating figures.
The boy smirked before speaking.
I recognized him from somewhere.
"Are you like Yoda or something?" He chuckled again.
"I don't are you who. Yes and speak I like Yoda when intimidating like are me around you." I quickly covered my mouth with my hand.
The boy was full on laughing by now.
"Ok, ok. Just try to speak normally. I'm Niall by the way," he said breathlessly.
"Charlotte," I muttered.
"We won't talk about this to anyone. We won't even speak to each other." I added.
"Okay darlin'."
I didn't really expect this kind of reply, but I'll go with it.
"Good." I said, smiling a little.
