Of course it had to be me.
I was an employee of Hyperion, and guess what my job was. The same job as so much other people on this ship, a simple mail lady, delivering all mail to their rightful owner. Now don't get me wrong, being a mail lady had its perks, like if I didn't like someone, read their mail and find some juicy gossip about them. But it was super boring. All I did was walk around and give mail to everyone and boom, my job was finished. Oh and did I forget to mention, I had a echo eye implanted in my eye, and one of those things on the side of my head, never really remembered what those were..... oh well. Today was going to the best day ever and no one could stop that
Or so I thought.
I was walking down the halls of Hyperion, when I heard some of my friends voices, "Hey Y/N" . I turned around and saw Jack and Vaughn coming towards me. "What's the problem this time? Forgot where you put your wallet Rhys?" I said, remembering the day where me, Rhys, and Vaughn were searching the whole ship for Rhys's wallet. Turned out it was in his office this whole time. I was brought out of my trance when I heard Rhys say "No, that won't be happening anytime soon... I hope" which then Vaughn nudged him. "Oh yeah, Y/N, you gotta come with us to Pandora" Rhys said surprisingly calmly, you know, for him being Rhys and all. "WHAT?!? You're telling me that you all want to go to Pandora, the most dangerous planet in all of existence?"
"It's to screw over Vasquez" Vaughn mentioned
"I'm in"
