It's been a week now since the events that happened between me and Chase. I haven't spoken to him this week and would like to keep it that way, I've been driving home for lunch, for some reason I still feel disappointed in myself over what happened. Chase is a player and he does this with lots of girls, I don't think it's weird or anything to him. Aspen called me and asked if I wanted to come over and spend the night there, watch a movie or something. I drove to her place, and walked to her door, she welcomed me in while her mom made us snacks and we talked.
"Sooo what happened with Chase?" Aspen blurted out
"Nothing..."
"SOMETHING DID HAPPEN!"
"Stop, nothing happened."
"He told me after the party that he would take you to his place and let you rest!"
"And you just let him do that?"
"Of course! Chase is very good when it comes to taking care of someone he likes." She paused of excitement. "But I know now that something did happen. Mind telling me?"
"If I tell you, promise not to make a big deal."
"Promise!"
"We did it. Though it was not intentionally I was drunk. " I blushed.
"YOU DID? I KNEW IT! Oh my god, I have to tease him about this."
"No no no no don't tell him I told you."
"Why not! We're close friends, it doesn't matter!"
"Aspen!" I angrily shouted.
"Okay, okay! Soo? Was it good?"
"It was really good..." I accidentally said. "I mean-uh-it wasn't.."
"Harper, you're just so cute when you're helpless!" She giggled. We watched movies after and talked more about my experiences and her experiences with Clark Erior at the party. We decided we would set up a tent outside and sleep in there just for fun.

Aspen woke me up, at frigging 7 am on a Saturday morning.
"It's 7 already, wake up sleepyhead!" Aspen screamed in my ear.
I was never one to wake up early on the weekend, I enjoyed sleeping and Aspen wasn't letting me get my proper rest. So, I decided to throw a pillow at her face like a normal person would.
" Ow! What was that for?" Aspen shrieked.
"It was for waking me up before 9am"
"Well I was just coming to tell you that breakfast is ready!" She cheered happily.

It was around 12 pm when I decided to go home, I was happy I came over to Aspen's. This sleepover helped me forget about the Chase drama.
I came home to the delicious smell of fresh baked cookies that my grandmother had made. She was always baking when she had the chance since she retried from her job. I decided to go upstairs to my room. I've been spending a lot of time here playing my guitar. I honestly love music and I just play to bow off steam, I played for a little bit before I got a little tired.

My grandmother later that evening called me down for dinner, we were having chicken parmesan, my favourite. Though tonight my grandmother said she had something she needed to tell me regrading my mother.
I felt chills going through my back as soon as I heard her name. My mind immediately went to negative things, what if my mother had to go to the hospital? What if she is not getting better and I will have to wait longer to see her? She is still my mother, and I still worried about her on a regular basis.
" So I have news about your mother." My grandmother said smiling and I was relieved.
" What is it?" I exclaimed.
" Well I think they will be letting us see her soon!" A grin immediately spread across my face. I cared about my mom, and the fact that they are letting us see her means that she has shown progress.
" That's great news" I said cheerfully.
I was genuinely happy for once this was great news. Though in the back of my mind I was still thinking about Chase and the night we had.
Sorry for the short chapter :3
