I woke up, looking at my watch, it was 6:30 am, I woke up early so that I could leave and explore this city without someone stopping me or coming with me. I got changed, grey jeans, white crop top and my army colored jacket. I grabbed my bag, and put in my Polaroid camera since I wanted to take some pictures of the scenery. I head out quietly, and went for breakfast.

I headed out to a diner that was not too far from my hotel, they served scrambled eggs, pancakes, bacon and orange juice, the typical diner stuff. I took out my Polaroid and took a picture of my meal, and soon headed out. I took a walk around the streets, I was in Time Square, the streets were crowded with people. It was too loud, I wore my headphones and started a song called, 'Gorillaz - Feel Good - Cover by Daniela Andrade,' since it matched my mood, how cliche. It was around noon and I wanted to stop by a cafe that looked pretty cute down the street. I walked in and walked up to the counter and ordered.

"Cappuccino, please." I ordered.

"Coming right up, miss."

A deep voice said. I suddenly looked up and followed the trail of his voice, the words sounded beautiful coming out of his mouth. I took a quick look. He had brown messy hair, he had almond shaped eyes, his jawline was sharp, and when he smiled, I felt butterflies in my stomach. He was absolutely perfect. I felt myself blush and looked down at my phone trying to avoid eye contact, I grabbed my coffee and sat down by the window to look outside. I tried to look at him at the corner of my eye just to get a better glance, but quickly caught him looking at me. My cheeks were flushed, I've never been the one to react this way about a guy.

I drank my cappuccino slowly until it started getting cold and wanted to throw it out. As I was walking with the cup in my right hand and my phone in my left, I was distracted by my phone and before I knew it, I felt a splash against my shirt.

"Oh shit, I'm so sorry." I said, knowing that I bumped into someone, carelessly.

"It's fine, I'll grab some napkins." The guy laughed.

"No, I'll do it. I really am sorry. I was being careless." I said still trying to brush off my stained shirt. I looked up at the tall figure. It was the guy from earlier. He was giggling at me. My face was really close to his when I looked up at him, I stepped back and tripped suddenly and fell on my butt when I was shocked by being too close to his face.

"Now, are you okay?" He said giggling, putting out his hand to help me up.

"I-I'm fine." I said stuttering. I felt embarrassed and knowing that this happened in front of him is ten times worse. He grabbed my hand and helped me up. He walked away and came back with a handful of napkins and a mop, he bent down and started to clean.

"So, what's your name?" He said while cleaning up the mess.

"Harper. What about you?" I replied.

"My name's Mason. I was about to clean those windows when I bumped into you." Mason laughed

He looked around my age, maybe a couple years older? He was really good looking, though.

"I see."

"Yeah, so um, do you want to grab a bite sometime?" He asked.

I could tell Mason was very straightforward considering we just met and now he's asking to eat out with him, but I couldn't pass the offer.

"Y-yeah, sure." I tried to say, trying to keep my cool.

"Nice, I was thinking we could go out and eat dinner...today?"

"Yeah, okay." I said smiling a little bit.

"So yeah- um, where should I pick you up?"
