I woke up to a loud knocking on my door. I had no idea who it could be, only Belle knows where I live an she wouldn't come here.

I walked slowly to the door and opened it a crack.

"You're kidding me." I said as I saw who was on the other side.

"Hey." Said Harry. He was standing there in black jeans and a big brown jacket, with a black beanie.

"How do you know where I live?"

"I asked Dylan to ask Belle." He replied honestly. "Can I come in?"

I turned around and looked at the small room with a mattress on the ground. The only thing inside of the room besides a stained carpet was a mirror, and the door to the small bathroom.

No one has ever been in here, only Belle once, that's it.

"no." I replied. "What do you want?"

"To talk."

"About?"

"I don't know? As friends, I like talking to you." He said. I think he's bipolar, honesty, he needs a doctor or something.

"That's great." I said, unamused.

"Can I buy you breakfast?" He asked. I really wanted to say no but I have limited invitations to free food.

"I guess." I said closing the door. I changed into leggings, a hoodie and my green jacket.

I opened the door, Harry was waitin there with his arms crossed. I knew I probably still had makeup from last night running down my face and my hair looked awful. But why did I care? Why did he even show up to my apartment?

"You look good." He said, I knew it was a lie, but he sounded genuine.

I didn't thank him, just walked down the the stairwell. We walked a few blocks in silence until we got to a cafe.

We waited in line for a few minutes.

"Can I get a tea and..." he looked at me as to finish with what I wanted.

"A coffee, scone, eggs and bacon please." I finished. He laughed at my large order.

"I didn't get you pregnant did I?" he teased, I shushed him.

We got our food and I inhaled mine. He watched me the entire time, I probably looked really attractive.

"So this is a good first date." Harry said breaking the silence.

I shook myself with a mouth full of bacon, "this isn't a date."

"It's just us two, getting food. It's a date."

"It's a date if both agree to go on a date, but that never happened." I said reminding him of last night.

"Fair enough." He agreed.

"Good."

"But it's still a date." He grinned.

"I thought we weren't talking."

"Oops."

"You're really annoying you know that."

"And you're really stubborn." He replied.

"Are you going to Nick's tonight?" I didn't know why I was asking.

"I was surprised you left last night." He said, ignoring my question.

"I didn't feel like being around you." I said honestly.

"Ouch." He said, jokingly.

"And I had wor-" I stopped myself. I just admitted I had work at 11, I probably just confirmed all the rumors he heard about me.

"Oh." He said. Who was he to judge me?

"Yep." I said. I wasn't going to act embarrassed, because honestly I wasn't. It's more annoying than embarrassing if people know that I work in one of those sleazy bars.

"Do you work in a McDonalds?" He said with a smile.

"Fuck you." I replied. He knew where it worked.

"Sorry, sorry. Im not judging." He said. Sure he wasn't.

"What beef do you have with Sam?" I asked randomly.

Harry's POV:

I knew she was going to bring it up. Shit.

"He hooked up with a girl I was with." I lied. She didn't buy it either.

"That's why your mad? Seriously?" She said. Her adorable lips curled inward at the edges.

I nodded.

I wasn't going to bring up what Sam really fucking did, how big of an asshole he was. Im sure she knows, I'm pretty sure anyone knows that.

I thought back to what he said about asking Aspen for a dance. I really didn't care if she was a murderer, she was the coolest girl I've ever met. Coolest? Really Harry?

I was brought back into the conversation by the most amazing noise i had ever heard. Her high pitched laugh filled the small cafe. Her nose crinkled adorably and her eyebrows curled up.

"You should do that more often." I said outloud.

"What?" She replied.

"Nothing, you just have a great laugh."

"Oh shut up." She replied, still smiling.

She finished her huge meal, I didn't know such a tiny girl could eat so much. Then again, she does alot of things I can't explain.

Aspen's POV:

We finished our meal, well my meal, and stepped back outside. It was the first day of December, and it was freezing. The snow was coming down hard.

"This is awful." I said.

"Worse than England." He agreed. I totally forgot he was from England, I mean his accent just sounded so normal, I got used to it.

All the sudden I heard some music playing from the park. I started walking that way and Harry followed.

We arrived to a miny concert of street performers. There was a circle surrounding them. They were dancing and singing old songs I recognized from my child hood.

"I know this song." Harry whispered into my ear.

I smiled, I walked closer to the group and weaved my small body through the group of people. I arrived to the performers and a smiling woman with dreadlocks handed me a tambourine. I stood up on a brick wall and started singing and dancing to the music, I met Harry's eyes, his deep dimples exposed as a smile swept across his face. When the song finished I got down and hugged the stranger. I went back to Harry who was still smiling.

"You're full of surprises." He said.

He had no idea.
