Why? Chapter Twelve

A/N: hey :) okay if u haaate me i don't really blame you i haven't updated in so long but i've got some writers block with this book but for you guys i'll try and get a chapter out!!

Chapter Twelve

I opened my eyes again and looked into Kade's beautiful green eyes. My heart beat faster, those eyes have never failed to make feel so special, for all of our years together. No matter what.

"I've missed spending time with you..." I muttered burying my head his chest.

"I know. Most girls do." He answered, I looked up and he flashed me a cheeky smile.

"So how many girls are you implying?" I asked raising my eyebrows at him.

He blushed and looked away. 

"Um, you know, o-only you Carter.." He said avoiding my gaze.

"Oh be honest with me Kade."  I said rolling my eyes.

"Casey, Lisa.." He faded off counting on his fingers.

"What?" I asked getting up to get a better look at him.

"I'm kidding!" He said smirking at me.

"Promise?" I said, feeling a little relieved.

"Yes babe." He said leaning up and shifting his weight to kiss my forehead.

"Good" I said smiling at him and leaning in to kiss him.

Even a simple peck still made all the animals in Africa throw a party after drinking all the Redbull in the world erupt in my stomach. "Mm, I love your kisses." I mumbled resting my forehead against his closing my eyes.

"Yeah, I'm kind of jealous, I never get to experience one.." He said faking hurt.

I thwaked his arm lightly "Shut up." I said with a laugh.

"Make me." He said leaning in.

I leaned in and kissed him lightly. 

"CARTER!!!!" 

"What?!" I shouted getting up away from Kade quickly.

"Oh, er, sorry, uh, hi Kade.." Liam mumbled awkwardly.

"Is there any reason you're here Liam?" I said glaring at him.

"Oh, er yeah! Okay so um... I think it'd be better if I talked to you in private Cat.." He said rubbing the back of his neck.

"Okay?" I said getting up and walking towards him.

I followed him into his room. Immediately the stench of dirty clothes and moldy food hitting my nose.

"Ugh, hurry." I groaned.

"Uh, this came into the mail for you.." He said handing me a envelope.

The return address was for Stellur Stables, in Colorado. 

"Holy. Shit."

I ripped the envelope open.

Dear Carter Williams,

We've had a trainer here that apperently used to work with you. She's seen you show and was saying you have a very nice way with horses. We'd love to see you out here. 

Please consider this. This is a once in a life time experience we'd love to see videos or photos of you and your horses.

"A-are you serious?" I said still staring at the letter reading it over and over.

"Yeah, I saw it this morning and waited a while...to come over but yeah.." He said awkwardly.

"Wait, if I accepted this, I'd leave here and live in Colorado, and do school there... I wouldn't see any of you guys... But this is a once in a lifetime oppertunty.." I mumbled staring at the letter.

"Wait, you're considering it..?" Liam asked his eyes widening.

"How can I not?!" I asked looking up at him.

"Well I just figured, because of Kade, and everyone here, you wouldn't.." He said looking down.

"Oh..." I answered. I didn't know what else to say. 

"I'm gonna go..." Liam said walking away.

"Okay bye..." I answered as I walked back out.
