Chapter Sixteen

Keep cool Carter...

Don't tell Kade..

You haven't made a decion yet..

I slowly walked back to the living room.

"Hey" He said smiling at me as he walked over to greet me.

"Hi" I said smiling back to him.

"What was that about?" He asked pulling me into a hug.

"Mm, nothing.." I said wrapping my arms around his neck.

We started swaying back and forth.

"Babe, you're gonna have to go soon..." I muttered into the side of his neck.

"I know, but I don't want to." He said pulling away to cup my face in his hands.

I shut my eyes as his thumb ran over my cheek. I felt his lips press against my forehead softly. 

"I'll leave now.." He muttered against my forehead.

"Okay.." I said, he took my hand in his and we walked outside to his car. I leaned against his truck and he put his hands on both sides of my head. He leaned towards me and rested his forehead on mine. 

"I love you" He whispered. I tilted my chin up and he kissed me softly. He pulled away gently and moved to go into his car. I watched his truck drive away till I couldn't see it anymore. I threw my head back and ran my hand through my hair. 

"Crap." I moaned.

I made my way slowly back to the house. 

Liam, come homeee! i need to talk to someone... I texted Liam.

I heard Liam's truck pull up and I looked out to see him coming inside.

"Whats wrong sister?" he said coming in and wrapping an arm around my shoulder.

"I don't know what to do." I muttered resting my head on his shoudler.

"Go ride." He said.

"You think I should take the offer? I said facing him, shocked he would tell me to leave.

"No! No, I mean, I don't know.. but no I was saying you should go ride one of OUR horses. It always helps you think." He said squeezing me.

"Oh, okay thanks..." I said getting up, I grabbed some shorts and slipped into my cowboy boots. I walked outside, I walked over to Sheila and wrapped my arms around her neck. I buried my face into her neck and let out a few tears.

I swung up onto her back and nudged her into a walk. We just walked for a while then I came up to a gate, I opened it and shut it behind me, then Sheila took off into a canter knowing where we are, I let her go, letting her mane whip my face as I crouched down, urging her forward. The wind, her mane, I just shut my eyes letting nature take me.

We galloped for a while before she slowed and I let her. I scratched her neck and just let her walk for a while.

On my way back to the barn, looking at all of the horses, and everything there, and thinking of all the people in my life. 

I made my decision.

A/N: yes yes i know u hate me hahhahahahahahahaha

i promise to update again this week it'll be free for me but i have school starting the 18th soo after that idkkk....
