I had been at Camp Half-Blood for about two weeks. I was in Poseidon's cabin because all the other cabins were fill with the other new comers that had not been claimed. Percy liked me being his roommate so far. It was early in the morning right now and Percy wasn't awake yet.

I was fully awake seeing as though I have been having nightmares lately. Percy says it's not nightmares but I don't believe him for some reason. I decided that it was time to get up. I quietly hoped into the shower that was in the cabin.

I try not to look at all my scars that cover my body. I never have told Percy about my past life and he never asked. Whenever he asked me if I wanted to go for a swim I would decline. I was about done with my shower when my side flared up in pain. After a minute it went away and I got dried off quickly. Soon I stepped out of the bathroom fully dressed and started to head out of the cabin when I saw Percy stir. I stopped and I saw him face me.

"What are you doing up so early?" Percy asked me.

"Couldn't sleep. You go back to bed. I'm going to take a walk." Soon enough Percy curled back up and fell asleep. I walked out of the cabin and down to the beach. I sat down and looked out into the Ocean. The wind blew my hair which was getting long. I started to hear footsteps. I turned around and saw Nico. He walked over to me and sat down.

"Hey." He said.

"Hey." I said back. I thought he was cool you know being the son of Hades. He was hanging out more with me and Percy since he got to know me more.

"Can't sleep?" He asked. I nodded. "The Nightmares?"

"Yep." I said.

"Mine are getting bad too." Nico said. He said that I was the only one that really knows about his nightmares. He knows about mine too.

"How bad?" I asked looking at his beautiful almost black eyes. He looked at me.

"I feel the pain and I try not to scream but it doesn't work sometimes." I saw fear in his eyes.

"That is bad. Mine are just bad but I don't feel that pain." I said looking back at the ocean.

"Does Percy know?" Nico asked so I looked back at him.

"About the dreams? No. I try not to wake him when I get them." I said. Looking in to his eyes. He looked away.

"Alex? I like you and I think you need to tell Percy." Nico said which didn't surprise me.

"Nico,  I don't know." I said. "I will think about it. If I do it you have to tell him as well."

He smiled and nodded. I smiled back at him. We both had a smile on our face now but it doesn't last long. Knowing that we might never tell him what we were thinking.

"I have to go Nico. I got to wake Percy up before breakfast." I said being very close to him.

"You go do that. I will meet you after breakfast." He said.

"See you then." I walked to Poseidon cabin to wake Percy up. If I didn't wake him up then he would miss breakfast. I walked into the room and yanked his blankets off which woke him up. Percy was sitting up wide awake.

"What was that for?" He asked looking at me.

"Time to get up. Get dressed." I said setting his sheets down on the ground so he wouldn't curl up in them.

"Five more minutes." He pleaded.

"No. I already let you sleep in for a little bit longer than normal." Percy groaned and got off his bed. He quickly picked out some clothes and went into the bathroom. I made his bed quickly, since I did mess it up. About ten minutes later Percy walked out all clean and awake.

"Ready to go Alex?" He asked me. I was sitting down on the bed but I got up and followed Percy out. We got our food and gave some of it to the god by burning it. Me and Percy sat down at Poseidon table and ate. Soon as we were done Percy ran off to go be with Annabeth and I went to the beach and waited for Nico.

I waited for what seemed like forever. Soon enough he came and sat down next to me. I turned to him. He was breathing pretty hard.

"Sorry. I had to get away from someone. They wanted to go do something with me." I smiled and I grabbed his hand to see a cut. I saw him blush slightly as I grabbed a piece of cloth and wrapped his hand.

"What happen?" I said and he blushed even more. He never answered me but, we sat at the beach for a little bit looking into the water. I almost felt connected to it but I didn't think that was possible. Soon enough I saw it was almost time for lunch. "It's almost time for lunch. Want to go now before it gets crowded?"

"Yea we should probably go now." Nico said.
