Percy woke with a headache. He couldn't think much other than his head hurt also his whole body. Lastly came the picture of a hospital like room that was very white and had a window that was open. The sun beamed into the room making him feel better as his powers came back. Percy looked down to see Rain cuddling up against Percy in the bed. She looked really tired and has redness around her eyes from crying.
Percy moved slightly which woke Rain and she jumped to look up at Percy. "Day!"
She yelled excited and began hugging him to death.
"Rain," Percy said very quietly as he was still tried but was glad that his soul mate was there with him. He kissed her head as she continued to hug him. She was slightly crying a happy tear that her mate was awake.
"I'm so glad that you're awake. It's been so hard without you love." Rain said. She let Percy go and looked up at him. Percy moves a piece of hair behind her ear. She smiled knowing that Percy loved to mess with her hair.
"I will always be with you, my love," Percy said and gave her a kiss on the lips. Then Percy began remembering the big battle and Alex. "Knight?"
"He's still asleep. He used almost all of his power. He was basically powerless after what he did."
"What did he do?" Percy asked worriedly. Alex never used that much energy since it was known he was Chaos' son.
"That's a story for another time. Right now, your awake and Knight is getting better. Moonshine is watching him." Rain said and she got up. "I will get you some clothing. Maybe we can go take a walk once you get more energy."
"I would love that."
"Rest love. I will be back later." With that Rain walked out of the room. Percy closed his eyes and fell asleep into a much-needed nap to get more energy. The sun beaming into the room helped.

Pain.
Pain is all that Alex could feel. All he could see was nothingness or just empty space. He couldn't get away from it. If he tries to do something only pain would follow. Why was it that he couldn't do anything.
Was this his punishment for working with Order. Even though he was being controlled, but he could have fought harder to get control of his body back. Problem was that his mind was playing a vision of what could have been.
He could have been married to Sabina and not have to deal with the whole cosmos. He wasn't a spy or even worked with MI6. Jack never died. His parents and uncle were alive as well and worked normal jobs that were not life-threatening.
He didn't want to leave that but it wasn't real, that's what he kept telling himself as the pain of leaving them. Then the whole atomic bomb thing happened and he was back into the darkness and pain. Why did he ever leave?
Some were in the darkness a light began to shine in the distance. Alex recognized it as a star forming. It was a natural thing that happened on their own sometimes. Chaos didn't create all of the stars in the sky only a hand full. That is why Chaos had sworn to protect this cosmos so that the beautiful things could continue the flourish.
The light grew bigger and brighter and came towards Alex. He was mesmerized by the light and the beauty. Alex began seeing his hands as the light enveloped his being. It was beautiful. Alex moved his hands and no pain came only relief that he was still there. When Alex looked back up there stood a woman glowing a bright yellow almost orange glow.
"Hello, Alex." His voice was angelic and soothing.
"Hi," was all that Alex could think of. She giggled.
"I am sorry to have brought you here but we have to talk." She said serious and Alex nodded.
"I am all ear. Not like there is anywhere I can go. I did just blow up Order's army." Alex said.
"I know of this war that has started. I see all and I know all." She said.
"What's your name?" Alex asked.
"You will know soon enough. Now, do you prefer Alex or Knight?"
"Knight is best. I left the life of Alex Rider a long time ago." Alex said and the woman turned around and Alex followed right beside her. They were heading toward a ball of fire that was very little but bright.
"Okay, Knight. Now tell me what you see." She said as she moved to the other side of the ball. Alex looked deep into the ball to see what kind of fire it was. At the very center was a black ball but was hard to see.
"Something is trapped in the fire," Alex said and looked up at the woman.
"That is true but your missing something very important."
Alex took another look to see what exactly it was in the center. All he could see what the black ball but not much else but he didn't want to look away. Soon another white ball came and was circling the black ball. The two balls played together and it looked like a family until the white ball began to disappear. Alex frowned and felt the pain of the black ball after losing his friend. Then another white ball came back and the cycle continued on the same.
"The black ball, it's me isn't it." The woman smiled sadly.
"Yes, it is but as you see you will never be alone. You don't have to be alone. There is always something out there looking for a new friend."
"But the deaths still hurt."
"Yes they will but everything dies. You will also die at some point. Chaos will die. Percy will die. It's how life works but you can change that with on snap and it throws stuff off balance." She snapped her hands and the fire dimmed and disappeared as a white ball stayed with the black ball. "What I am trying to say is that it is not your time and Order is still alive. I promised Chaos that you were safe and now is the time to show everyone else that you are the true ruler and Percy is your helper."
The woman began to go away. "Trust in your team and you will be unstoppable." The black was back but not for long as a beeping sound come into the sounds and light from something penetrated Alex's eyes but they were closed. What now?
'Order must pay for what he has put my family through. Time to end the war since only one battle has been won.'
