Percy woke up with a groan. The sun was almost up so it was his time to wake up and switch with Alex's Generals. Percy got dressed in his all white clothing with black trim. Rain started to wake up with Percy's movement. Percy looked to her as he saw her eyes open and looking at her.
"Morning sweet. How are you doing this fine morning?" Percy asked Rain. She smiled at him. She sat up with the sheet covering her body. She pulled him closer to him and kissed him softly on the lips. Her cold lips that could be warmed up by only Percy.
"I am fine my love. I am just worried." She said giving Percy a peck on the lips once more.
"What are you worried about. There is nothing to be worried about." Percy said pulling her closer. She sighed.
"It's the girl Annabeth. You once loved her. How do I know you won't leave me for her." Rain said looking sad. Percy kissed her fully on the mouth. Once they broke away he looked deep into her eyes and put his hand on her cheek.
"I could never leave you. Annabeth will never be as much as you are in my heart. From years with being with her was smaller than the minute I meet you. I am your mate and always will be." Percy said and hugged her tightly. "Always and forever love."
After a while Percy left the room so Rain could get dressed and Percy need to make sure his Generals would wake up. Most of them were but one was still awake when she should have been asleep. Moonshine.
Percy walked up to her.
"Why are you still awake Moonshine?" Percy asked. Moonshine got up and looked at Percy but you couldn't see her face. You could tell that she was crying. Percy had her sit and knelled in front of her. "What's wrong?"
"It's Knight. I can't get a hold of him. So I was waiting and he hasn't came back." Moonshine said with tears going down her mask. "He should have came back an hour ago."
Percy sighed. He then closed his eyes trying to find Alex. He opened them back up knowing where he was.
"He's fine Moonshine. I will go get him right now." Percy said getting up and moving out of the tent with his hood up. Percy stretch his wings open ready to fly into the air.
Percy jumped up into the air, flying way to where he hoped Alex was. As Percy got closer to to the spot that he figured that Alex was he started to slow down which made Alex aware that he was there.
"Flying after me now, are you?" Alex said. Percy sighed.
"You need to come down sooner or later." Percy said. Alex sighed and closed his eyes.
"I can't Day. I just can't right now. I need to think." Alex said. Percy moved closer.
"Can you think in your room? That way if you exhaust yourself we know where you are." Percy asked. Alex opened his eyes and looked at Percy.
"I don't know." Alex said.
"Please. Moonshine is worried about you." Percy said. Alex smiled and chuckled a little.
"She is worried about little old me." Alex sighed once more. "Fine. Let's go."
They both flew off to the tent. Once they got inside Moonshine ran up to him and hugged him tight.
"I was so worried about you." Moonshine said. More of Alex's generals were going up to him telling him not to go off on his own. Alex had said that he would try. Then he walked into his room with out any breakfast. Percy didn't say anything since he sometimes also skiped meals. It was their past that changed them. There was nothing that they could do.
Rain helped Percy eat more but Alex didn't have anyone but his generals and he was even cold to them. Moonshine always saved his plate and put it away for a later date.
In Alex's room he sat on his bed with his head in his hands. He was thinking war strategies mostly. Nothing could get that picture of the girl dead stuck in his mind. It was going to haunt him for a while. He might not even be able to sleep the day.
Later as Alex got tired, his eyes started to close slowly. Soon enough he feel back on his bed and feel into a light sleep. A dark light sleep.
