Alex woke slowly. He opened his eyes to see a darkened room. His pain was gone and he felt numb. The door opened and the lights were slowly turned on so as not to hurt Alex's eyes. There stood Percy slowly walking in. Alex looked at him tired. Percy grabbed a chair and sat down next to Alex.

"Hey, how you feeling?" Percy asked. Alex sighed and moved to sit up but pain ran through his body. Alex winced and Percy immediately got up and stopped him from moving too much.

"I can hear you."

"Yes, there a parasite in your ear that only allowed the person the put it in to hear them. It came out after a while so your hearing might not be at it's best right now," Percy said. Alex was still out of it and his head began to hurt just a bit.

"You guys came for me," Alex said with a rough voice.

"Of course we did. I was heartbroken that I couldn't find you for a mon..." Percy stopped mid-sentence. Alex perks up at what he was about to say.

"How long?" Alex asked and looked away from Percy.

"Knight." Percy started to say but Alex beat him to it.

"How long?"

"One month almost exactly." Percy looked sad and Alex was getting angry at him.

"I should have known. You're just like them Day. I should have never accepted this. I should have just killed my self in order to get away from this," Alex said.

"You don't mean that right?" Percy asked.

"Get out. Get out!" Alex yelled at Percy.

Percy came back from his mind. He was laying in bed with Rain beside him. It was almost morning but Percy didn't want to get up. Too much was on his mind. What could he do? Wait until Alex came back on his own or wait until the army came and they all died. Without Alex, they wouldn't continue on. Alex was the glue of the team.

Rain began waking up and turned to look at Percy. Percy stared at the ceiling as his mind ran.

"Morning love." Percy looked down at Rain and smiled at her. But Rain couldn't tell if it was a real smile or just to not make her worried about him. Though through their bond she could tell that he was hurting.

"Morning," Percy said. He pulled her closer and hugged her tight. "I don't know what I would do without you."

Percy whispers very softly only thinking of the possibilities if she were to die he probably wouldn't function. Percy almost felt that way about Alex being gone but it would be worse if both of them were to be gone.

"Are you thinking about our first mission?" Rain said.

"I was."

"It won't be like last time. We will get him back soon." Rain got up and began getting ready for the day. Percy did the same but he didn't want to get up.

As the day went on training progressed but the pain Percy felt continued on.

A figure went flying through the air and crashed into a wall. "You failed me."

Order grabbed the shirt of the man in black. "Why should I keep you?"

"You put me in here. You made me who I am. You need me." The man said. Order smiled and began laughing.

"You are right my creation. You will not fail me again or you will suffer."

"I will not fail you Order. I have a plan to destroy the adopted sun once and for all." Order left the room and left the man in black to continue his planing. A plan that would not fail as long as his heart contiued to be as black as night.
