Gosh, why are guys so stupid?

I heard a door slam so I finished up my hand and ran down stairs. I saw Niall glaring at the door. Liam was nowhere in sight.

"Hey, uh, where's Liam?" I asked Niall

"Why?" Niall asked rolling his eyes

"Because I want to know where he is, idiot" I said rolling my eyes too.

"He ran out of the door. Why do you care so much for him. Do you like him?"

I felt heat started to rush to my face. Do I like Liam? I dont know. I mean, I do get these weird feelings around him but..uhg I dont know.

Its a little too soon for me to like guys. Shane just broke up with me. Its too soon. Right?

"Do you?" Niall asked interrupting my little debate in my head.

"Uh..no. no. I just got out of a relationship, literally yesterday." I said.

"Oh, im sorry. I didn't know." He said with his eyes wide

"Thats fine, I didn't expect you to."

"Seriously though, its been great talking to you and I think we could be great friends but I need to go find Liam." I said rushing out the door.

But before I shut the door, I didn't miss the hurt look on Niall's face. And I certainly didn't miss what he mumbled.

"Yeah, friends" He said.
