“How did your parents split up again?” Blaze asked.
“Irreconcilable difference,” my and Demi said together.
“Oh okay.”
“What film did you all chose?”
“I don’t know…”
“What is on?” Tommy asked, furrowing his eyebrows at he looked at the poster.
“I...-We haven’t checked.” I admitted.
“Why not?”
“Dylan only told us about this today. At lunch. We didn’t prepare.”
“Oh.” Tommy replied, looking confused. “Okay…?”
“What?” I asked suspiciously.
“Nothing!”
“No, it’s not nothing!”
“No-It is- it’s nothing.”
I glared at Dylan’s cousin. “Tommy.”
He sighed heavily and I looked up to see, over my shoulder, that Dylan was glaring at him too, shaking his head at the same time.
“What?” I asked the pair.
“Nothing.”
“Dylan!”
“What?”
“Tell me!” I whined.
“No.”
“Yes.”
“No.”
“Why not?”
“Okay you two,” Tyson said, looking rather amused, “that will do.”
I gave up, “fine.” I said.
“What do you want to watch?”
“Two can play that game?”
“Really?”
“I heard it wasn't good.”
“Oh.”
“Soul survivor?”
“No. I heard it was bad.”
“Rockstar?”
“No.” Blaze said, rolling her eyes. “I don’t want to watch any of those.”
“What do you want to watch then?”
“How about,” Tommy said, holding up his finger, “we vote.”
“For our film?”
“Yeah. That or we could just split up and go and see the films we want to see seperatly?”
Blaze hit Tyson around the head. “We are not going to do that.”
“Why not?”
“Because these are—” she cut herself off; embarrassed to say they were on a date.
Dylan joined back into the conversation. “How about we let Ron decide? We’re all here, together, because of her.”
“W-what?” I asked.
“You chose?”
I looked ahead and noticed that the woman behind the desk was looking impatiently at us, with a strained smile plastered onto her face. I grimaced before sending her a sympathetic look.
“I’m sorry for the hold up.”
“No, it’s fine.” She replied in force politeness.
I closed the distance with the counter, leaving my friends a few steps behind.
