Four years later
"Ugh why am I back here?" I groaned throwing my head back so it hit the headrest in the backseat of my mother’s car. "Because you missed us so much!" she said sarcasm loud already loud voice. "Oh right I forgot!" I said making sure my sarcasm wouldn't go unnoticed as well. "Well we're happy to have you back!" my father said more genuinely making a small smile of apparition show but not for long.
I then looked out the car window at the rainy streets of London and my smile faded. There were people running down the streets trying to avoid the rain. Then others just put there hoods up and suffered though the madness. It was a depressing site to say the least, but it was home for me. "This is the worst rain we've had in weeks!" my mother exclaimed and I sighed "Perfect time to come back!!”
After that the only sound for a while was the rain bouncing off the hood of the car, almost creating rhythm. Then I pulled down the all too filmier road and I let out another sigh "I really am back" I said as we pulled into the driveway of house I escaped not too long ago. "Quite being dramatic!" my father said and I rolled my eyes pulling my hood over my head.
I opened the door and stepped out of the car letting the rain hit me. Both my parents jogged to the door while I slugged behind not really caring of I was soaked or not. "Holly!" My mother said and I rolled my eyes but picked up my speed. I walked into the house and took my coat off and hung it on the iron coat rack by the door then took in my old home.
I looked in the living room to see the normal fire place and my father as normal trying to lite it. Along with the fire place there was a large worn light brown 'leather' sofa meant for three but could seat least five in the middle of the room. "Got it!" my father exclaimed finally lighting the fire and turned to hoping for excitement. Instead I nodded and tuned on my heels and headed for my room.
I went up the steps two at time till I reached the top. I walked up to my door that sat right across from the stairs and looked at it. I gripped the knob and pushed the door open. Nothing changed, not even bit. It's like my room was some sort of fossil and was being persevered.
I took a few steps in a touched my old wood desk that had a film of dust on it. I then walked over to my bed and felt the ice cold comforter on top. "Just like you left it" I turned around to see my dad with his head though a crack just big enough for his head to fit tight with a smile on his face.
"Yea. Just like I left it!" I said and he laughed and stepped into my room. "Your mother hoped one day you would come back" and I nodded "She always had doubts" I said and my father sighed. "You know that's not true" and I nodded "alright, anything else?" I asked and he shook his head. He just stood there for a second taking in the fact that I was home and how happy he was and how he missed my in his words 'Saucy' personality.
"ERICK!" my mother shirked and he let out a sigh "COMING HONEY" he called out. "Don't spend too much time in here" he said with a smile before joining out of the door and shutting it behind him. I let out a sigh and plopped down on my butt on the bed.
I remembered the last time I was in here the only thing I took was clothes. I was so excited to move to the states and figure myself out. Too bad figuring yourself out cost a lot of money and time, things I ran out of. So of cores its hard coming back accepting failure, but it's also somewhat comforting to home.
Then the sharp sound of the doorbell rang and I was brought out of my thoughts. I didn't get up but I heard the thud of my mother’s feet and the opening of the door. "ANDY! REBECCA!" I heard my mother shout. I knew the named from anywhere, the Harries.
Then I heard lots of talking that I couldn’t make out individually. But I did make out "HOLLY COME DOWN HERE" quite clearly. I let out a sigh and walked out of my room and down the stairs. I slapped on the smile I was taught when guest were over. The smile that I was raised that no matter what you put on. That was until I saw five bodies instead of two in front of me and one in particular that caught my eye.
"Holly?" the green eyed boy said and I swear I could feel my jaw drop.
"Finn?"
