Chapter 15 - Going Away

A/N: This will be the last update untill May 28th becouse school and my new job are killing me AHHHH!

It felt like any other day but I knew it wasn't. Jack and Finn were leaving today and I felt like I couldn't wrap my head around it. Six weeks isn't that long but it sounded like forever, and that's what scared me the most. Just a few weeks ago I had gone years without them, now I couldn't even go a few days.

"Pathetic" I said out loud finally getting out of bed even though the sun was already setting. I walked out of my room and down the stairs to the kitchen. "Hey sweetie" I heard my dad say and I turned around "Hi" I said softly and he pressed a kiss to my temple. "You alright?" he asked and I nodded "Just with Jack and Finn going away today I'm just a little sad. I'll be alright" I assured.

He nodded "Well you should really come with your mother and I and tell them goodbye in a little" and I let out a sigh "I said my goodbyes yesterday" and he nodded "Think about it" he said before hugging me tight "Don't leave me alone with your mother" he said in my ear making me laugh.

He let go and went upstairs and I could hear my mother coming down. I mentally cursed myself because I wasn't in the mood today. "Hun are you okay?" she asked wrapping her arms around me "Y-yes?" I said tapping her back a few times and she let go. "Do you need anything?" she asked and I shook my head "N-no I’m fine mum" I said "Are you okay?" I asked and she nodded "Just need to make sure my baby is okay".

I had to admit it was nice feeling love coming from my mother for once, but it felt out of place. "Yea I'm fine mom" I said moving out of her arms and grabbed an apple out of the bowl of fruit that sat on the counter. "If you ever need to talk just let me know" she said and I nodded "For sure" I said going back up to my room. I shut my door behind me and tried to proses what just happened. 

But even before I could something hit my bedroom window and I walked over opening the curtains. The bright sun was setting and it blinded me for a second. Then something else hit my window and I looked to see Jack down waving his arms around in front of my house. He stooped when he saw I noticed him and gestured for me to come down. I nodded and quickly changed from my pajamas and into some blue jean shorts and old worn out black shirt.

I jogged down the stairs and out the door "What is it?" I asked and he hugged me tight. "Don't make me go with him" he said making me laugh "He's your brother! Hell he's your TWIN!" I sad and he let out a sigh. "I know" he said letting me go and I looked around "Where is he anyway" and Jack backed up "You're little lover boy is at Beth's saying goodbye".

I rolled my eyes "He's not MY lover boy, he's my friend" I said "Well that was one hell of a kiss for "friends" yesterday" and I could feel my face heat up. "You were watching?" I asked and he shrugged "Watching? No! More like observing" he said and I smacked on his arm "I hate you" I said hitting again for good measure.

"Look I'm sorry alright?" he said grabbing his arm and I shook my head "Whatever". Then a small car pulled into my driveway "Look who it is" Jack said as Finn got out of the back of the car that his mother was driving. "Hey guys" he said and I just kind of stood there "Hey" I said quietly. He walked over with open arms and I hesitantly took his hug with a forced smile on my face. I tried to ignore the fact that he smelled like perfume but the smell was so strong it was hard. 

"BOYS!" I heard my father say coming out of the house and both boys opened their arms wide accepting my father’s hug. "Going off again I see" he said finally pulling away from them and they nodded "Yea. America again going to be a fun one this time." Finn said. Then my mother came out not even saying a thing and hugged both of them and then we all just kind of stood there.

"So you guys are off now?" I asked and they nodded "But can you do us a favor first?" Jack asked and I nodded "Go for it". Then he smiled "Go up to your room and grab the packed bag on your bed and get in the car" he said and I was confused and I could tell it was written on my face "What are you talking about?" I asked looking over at Finn now then at my parents.

"You're coming with us Holly, now go get your things" Jack said.

I didn't believe them at first but I went back in the house and up to my room to see my old black suit case on my bed. I unzipped and it was filled with all the clothes I was looking at yesterday when we went shopping. 

"See?" I heard behind me and saw both Jack and Finn looking at me. "Guys!" I said feeling emotional and they laughed "I love you guys so much" I said running over and wrapping my arms around the both of them. "We love you too but we need to get going so we don't miss our flight" Finn said pulling out his phone and checking the time.

"Alight" I said grabbing my phone and suitcase off my bed wheeled it down the stairs and out to the car. I looked at my parents and let go of my bag and hugged them both "We know you need this" they said and I squeezed them tighter. "I love you both" I said and I felt a tear hit the top of my head and I looked to see my mother crying. 

"Sorry it's just, this time we get to say goodbye" she said and I laughed "I know. I-" I tried to say but Finn grabbed my hand and pulled me away "I LOVE YOU" I said while being thrown into the back of the car. "LOVE YOU TOO!" they both called out "CALL WHEN YOU GET THERE" my mum said and I nodded. 

Then both twins got in on both sides crushing me between them "TO AMERICA!" I shouted and all three of us cheered making Mrs. Harries laugh. "Excited?" Finn asked and I looked up at him and nodded "So excited" I said making him smile. “Good because we are going to have such a good time” he said placing his arm around my shoulder “You’re going to love what we have planned”. I looked at Finn with wide eyes and he laughed “Just you wait”.
