(AN) Hey, this is my first story so if I'm doing anything wrong don't be afraid to tell me. I hope you'll enjoy it cause I'm a bit of a sucky writer. Again, first story so cut me a little slack. Also this story takes place before the seven year time skip and the S class trial, so everything is still (remotely) normal. So with all that said, here it goes.
Chapter One
"Mom I'll be fine." I say trying to relieve myself of my mother's affectionate, yet suffocating hugs. "Oh I know (YN) I know, I'm just so proud of you." She replies trying to hold back any tears. I was on my way to Fairy Tail, a powerful and loyal guild in Magnolia. I am (If I do say so myself) an excellent wizard with many skills and combat abillities. I'm a water dragon slayer and my mother is Aquamarine the water dragon.
"I promise I'll be safe, you don't need to worry I'm a big girl now." I say trying to calm her nerves. My mom finally releases me and I take in a big breath, now being able to breath. "Goodbye Aquamarine, I will miss you more than you know." This time the tears began to flow, and soon, so did mine. About three minutes later we were practically drenched in each other's tears and I'm gonna be late for my train if I don't leave now.
"Okay Aqua I have to go, if I stay any longer I'll miss my train." I say wiping the tears form my face. "Alright you can go now, but...umm...I-I love you (YN)." She says hesitation in her voice. "I love you to...mom.." I reply about to burst out in tears all over again. I turn around making my way down the dusty roads taking my first steps on my journey to Fairy Tail. I was finally leaving home.
Unlike most of the dragons Aquamarine didn't leave like the others in the year x777. I don't know why, but she said it had something to do with my destiny and meeting the one who could help. "Help with what." I would ask, but she would never tell me. She only said that he would help. HE.
