Chapter Eight

"You..."

"You..."

This is who Aqua had been telling me about. The man of my destiny. The one who would help. But why now, why do I meet him on the day I join Fairy Tail, this must be for a reason.

Before I could do, say, or even think of anything my body started to react for me. I ended up embracing him in the most heart felt, warm and loving hug I've ever felt in my entire life. Then to my surprise, he hugs back. I had never been so happy. I felt like I belonged in his arms, just me and him. 'But I don't even know his name.'

"I'm Natsu." He whispers in my ear as if he had read my mind. His voice was soft but low, and reassuring I melted into his arms just by the sound of it.

"I'm (YN)." I respond looking him in his beautiful green eyes. "Umm did I miss something." Says Happy as he flies over to be welcomed with the sight of me and Natsu hugging.

"Hey little buddy." Natsu says releasing one hand from our hug to welcome Happy. "Hi Natsu where have you been I've missed you." Happy says clinging onto him. 'He's so cute'. "I was taking care of something for Lucy. It took me all day so that's why I didn't get back until now." He says releasing Happy but holding on to me.

"Oh Happy this is (YN) she's m...." He was cut off. "We already met. She's really sweet and great with her hands. She found this spot next to my ear that I didn't even know I had. It drove me crazy." He says thinking back to that moment.

"Really, great with her hands. Hmm I wonder what I can do with that information." Natsu says looking at me in a seductive manner. My body starts to heat up all over again.

"Yeah and she's a Dragon Slayer like you, Gajeel, and Wendy. You guys should totally go out. You could be like a dragon slaying power couple." Happy says making karate moves with his hands. I can't help but giggle.

"Actually, me and (YN) are....." He was cut off again by...

"NATSU!" The whole guild yells in unison as they welcome him home. 'I wonder if we'll ever be able to tell them.' I think to myself as Natsu gives me a reassuring look telling me we'll get there soon.

About an hour and a half past and I'm to excited to hold it in anymore. I want Natsu to tell the guild now. "Natsu, we can't wait forever." I whisper to him hoping he will finally tell the guild. "I know, I know. Come on let's do it now." He says grabbing my hand and leading me to the table that Lucy, Erza, Gray, Wendy, and the exceeds are sitting.

"Hey you guys, me and (YN) have an announcement to make!" Natsu bellows to the guild hoping to get their attention. Everyone turns round, silently wondering what could be so important. "Thank you. I know this may sound crazy or sudden, but me and (YN) are..."

"(YN)?!"

'Oh....my.....'
